Justin Nicolino predictably struggles against a good offense
by David A Marcillo | Sun, Jun 25th 1:16am EDT
Miami Marlins starting pitcher Justin Nicolino struggled on Saturday against the Cubs, pitching only four innings and allowing three runs on seven hits with four strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
Nicolino was okay the first time through the order, but got hit hard the second time through. Manager Don Mattingly surprisingly made a good move and pulled the lefty before he could face the Cubs batting order for the third time. Nicolino would make a passable relief pitcher, but he'll be allowed to continue to struggle as a starter because the Marlins don't have any better options.
