The Red Sox made the switch due to the struggles of Sandy Leon. Vazquez is off to a quick start, with a 1.033 OPS and a .412 average. While this level of production certainly isn't sustainable, owners in deeper leagues that need help at catcher could do worse than riding the hot streak now that Vazquez will see more time behind the plate.
