Wily Peralta improves to 3-0 on Sunday afternoon
by JP Gale | Sun, Apr 16th 5:24pm EDT
Wily Peralta held the Reds to two runs on three hits over six innings on Sunday afternoon. He walked three, and struck out one batter on the way to earning his third straight win on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Peralta now has three wins, a 2.65 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP over 17 innings to start the season. He served up his fist long ball of the season on Sunday, which accounted for the two earned runs. You can't take anything away from big Wily and how he has started the season, but this is probably as good as it's going to get. Feel free to ride the streak, but keep his career 1.03 HR/9 in mind. He'll make his next start against the Cardinals in Milwaukee on Friday.
