Socrates Brito suffers dislocated finger
by Brendan Ringwood | Thu, Mar 9th 12:41am EST
Socrates Brito suffered a dislocated finger after sliding head first into home. He was immediately removed from the game, and was sent for surgery before the day was through. The surgery was said to "repair an open dislocation of the fourth finger". There is no timetable outlined for his return. (Diamondbacks on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Brito has been plagued by injuries over the past year, having suffered both a broken toe and fractured hamate bone. He does have plenty of talent though, having hit around .300 in the minors with the ability to steal 25+ bases. While he may get branded as an injury risk now, it is good to note that all the injuries are unrelated.
