Fantasy Impact:
Arroyo logged at least 199 IP in nine consecutive seasons from 2005-2013, mostly with the Reds, but he has been plagued with injuries over the last three years and has not pitched in the big leagues since 2014. He will battle for a spot in the Reds starting rotation, but he is more likely to earn a spot in the bullpen. His greater contribution will be as a mentor to the bevvy of young, talented pitchers in the Reds system.
