Eduardo Rodriguez being considered as a rotation candidate

Team president Dave Dombrowski announced that Eduardo Rodriguez will fight with Steven Wright and Drew Pomeranz for a rotation spot. Rodriguez had knee issues over the winter, but should be good to go for Spring Training. He had a 4.71 ERA in 20 starts last season, posting a 3-7 record. (Tim Britton on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After posting a 10-6 record and 3.85 ERA in 2015, Rodriguez regressed in many ways last season, even though he saw a bump in strikeouts per nine from 7.2 to 8.4. Rodriguez also saw his walks per nine jump from 2.7 to 3.4 and allowed 16 home runs in 107 innings last season. He still needs to work on his walks and home runs allowed and may be better off in Triple-A this season working on his craft before a midseason callup.
