Not unlike NFL coaching/ play calling- experience in the fantasy industry is overrated! Joking of course. I don't have a background in journalism or anything. I decided to jump into this incredibly saturated market for no other reason than being told I should by my buddies for years. Also for catharsis! Channeling my research via written and audio content is just healthier than telling my friends to draft Chris Godwin in every draft for reasons A-Z lol I was confident I could find niche topics that are both alluring and under appreciated. I try to keep a light vibe when writing so the reader is not abated by the analytics and research. Laying out both sides of arguments and debates. I try to marry the data with layman explanations. Aiming to contextualize without condescending. Conversely I may write a passion piece like I did with Adam Gase a week after he signed with the Jets. (BTW if you want an example of research I enjoy doing: Adam Gase RB's have been last in the NFL in Red Zone carries for 3 years straight- back to his MIA days!) Positive feedback is what I've received so far. I'd concede true criticism is some what elusive and I've only been writing/ on twitter for just over a year. I've played fantasy for years. Started with fantasy hockey almost 15 years ago. I play all formats. I'd contest I've been ahead of the mainstream in that aspect of fantasy. I have a home league that was originally a 2 QB league years ago (Since changed to superflex) I also play 100+ bestballs annually. DFS is the one frontier I'd consider my weak point so far as personal experience. I've yet to commit to the research it demands for sustained success. I'm 30 years old from Victoria, B.C. (Canada) Job: Architectural sheet metal (Journeyman) I dumped a bunch of articles I wrote for my buddy who runs that site I also put some pods on there if you'd like to have a feel for my research and writing style/ or for rep! I wrote and recorded that Stacking Episode early last offseason at 6 mins or 7 mins I talk about Lamar Jackson being the best value and why and I use Lamar, Mark Andrews and Hollywood as the dream scenario for best ball stacking last year Wrote and recorded the WR hit rates as well So I know it's Ma & Pa but we did just have Nate Hamilton on the pod and that alone has invigorated me to start banging out written content again Honestly, I would just love to have the rankings tools I'm hearing nothing but rave reviews about at my disposal LOL Thanks, sorry to take up SO much of your time!
