Gardner Minshew II to be released by Raiders
The Raiders informed QB Gardner Minshew II he will be released.

The move will become official when the new league year begins next Wednesday. He threw nine touchdowns to ten interceptions in nine starts before losing his starting job to Aidan O’Connell. The Raiders are expected to bring in another quarterback this offseason.

The Vikings will officially not place the franchise tag on Sam Darnold.
