And of course I’ll have you covered with my latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
Every year, we try to do our best to predict 32 NFL Draft selections (or more) while knowing that once this untamed beast is set free and teams are on the clock, all bets are off, and things can get wild. Well, here’s my second jaunt into the NFL Mock Draft streets (with more to come) with my 2025 NFL Mock Draft 2.0. With this exercise, I’m trying to be predictive while keeping what I would necessarily do with every pick out of the equation. There are no trades in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, but I’ll likely be adding some trades to future versions.
Ok, that’s enough build-up. Let’s discuss the first two rounds of the NFL Draft and what could happen.

NFL Mock Draft Round 1 Picks & Predictions
NFL Draft Player Notes
Cam Ward to Titans
Ward looks like a lock to go to Tennessee at this point. Ward might not be my QB1 of this class, but I won’t dispute that he is immensely talented and could be a top 5-10 quarterback in the NFL if he’s able to even out his down-to-down consistency. Last year, Ward ranked inside the top 12 in passing grade, yards per attempt, and big-time throw rate (per PFF).
Matthew Golden to Cowboys
With Jalen Tolbert and Jonathan Mingo the projected Week 1 starting wide receivers opposite CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys need an upgrade at WR2. Golden’s route running, speed, and ability to stretch the field will be loved by Dak Prescott from Day 1.
Jaxson Dart to Steelers
“Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same.” Well, I said this weeks ago. Dart WOULD BE a first-round pick in the NFL Draft, and here we are. Dart has had a first-round draft grade from me, and he’s a nice fit for Pittsburgh’s passing offense with his mobility, deep ball prowess, and excellence with play-action. Last year, Pittsburgh utilized play-action between 24.6 and 31.5% of dropbacks with Russell Wilson and Justin Fields (per PFF). Wilson was seventh in deep ball rate. Last year, Dart ranked fifth in play-action yards per attempt, 15th in play-action passer rating, and 26th in deep-adjusted completion rate (per PFF). Every day that passes makes Aaron Rodgers’ arrival in Pittsburgh less likely.
