The 2025 NFL Combine is in the rearview mirror. While no one broke Xavier Worthy‘s 40-yard dash record despite some promises, many prospects improved their draft stock. Unfortunately, others saw their draft stock head in the wrong direction. Meanwhile, some of the draft’s top prospects didn’t work out in Indianapolis.

Is Shedeur Sanders Still the QB2 in the Draft Class?
Despite not working out in Indianapolis, some draft evaluators still have Sanders as the top quarterback in the draft class. However, most NFL Draft analysts have Cam Ward as the top quarterback in their rankings. More importantly, Jaxson Dart has been building momentum since the end of the college season.
The former Ole Miss star had an impressive week at the Senior Bowl. Dart built on that momentum during the NFL Combine. While some still have Sanders far and away ahead of Dart, many have closed the gap or flipped the quarterbacks in their rankings. The former Colorado star might need a massive performance at his Pro Day to remain the QB2 in the draft class.
Has Matthew Golden Taken Over as the No. 1 Wide Receiver?
While Isaiah Bond talked a big game ahead of the NFL Combine, Golden was the best former Longhorns wide receiver in Indianapolis. His draft stock was rising following his play during the College Football Playoffs. However, he locked himself into the first-round conversation over the weekend.
Golden ran the second-fastest 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, ranking first among wide receivers (4.29). Reportedly, many at the combine believe the former Texas star has passed Tetairoa McMillan and Luther Burden III as the top wide receiver in the draft class. Don’t be surprised if Golden is the first wide receiver drafted in April.
Will Armand Membou Get Drafted Ahead of Will Campbell?
Many have had Will Campbell as the top offensive lineman in the draft class since the end of the college football season. However, Membou has been one of the hottest names in draft conversations over the past month, showing up as a top-10 pick in many mock drafts.
The former Missouri star had arguably the best performance of any offensive lineman at the NFL Combine. Membou ran the second-fastest 40-yard dash time among the offensive linemen in Indianapolis (4.91) despite weighing 332 pounds. While it’s not a guarantee, no one should be surprised if Membou gets drafted slightly ahead of Campbell.
