The NFL Draft is a game-changer for both real-life teams and fantasy football managers. Every year, incoming rookies have the potential to make an immediate impact, but their success often depends on where they land. The right system, coaching staff, and supporting cast can elevate a prospect to fantasy stardom, while a poor fit can limit their upside.

Whether you’re scouting for dynasty drafts or looking ahead to redraft leagues, these expert opinions will help you get ahead of the competition. Let’s dive into a few dynasty rookie draft sleepers to monitor through the 2025 NFL Draft.

2025 NFL Draft Guide: Mock Drafts, Scouting Reports & More

Dynasty Rookie Draft Sleepers

Which WR are you monitoring heading into the NFL Draft because you feel the right landing spot could make them a sleeper in fantasy football dynasty leagues?

Tai Felton

“My favorite sleeper WR in the class is Tai Felton of Maryland. In fact, I’m actually disappointed that he tested so well at the combine. His 4.37 in the 40 and his 39.5-inch vertical jump commanded the attention of dynasty managers who didn’t have Felton on their radars. Felton had 96 catches for 1,124 yards and nine TDs for the Terps last year. He’s a terrific ball-tracker with sure hands. At 6-1, 183 pounds, Felton is thin, but he’s a surprisingly good tackle-breaker and plays fearlessly.”

Jayden Higgins

Jayden Higgins is one of my favorite wide receivers in the draft class. Last year, he formed an excellent 1-2 punch at wide receiver for Iowa State, totaling 87 receptions for 1,183 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. More importantly, Higgins can make plays at all three levels, including downfield, where his 4.47 40-yard dash speed and 6’4″ frame make him a mismatch weapon. The former Iowa State star gives off similar vibes to Nico Collins coming out of Michigan in 2021. Hopefully, Higgins doesn’t have to wait two years for a capable quarterback like Collins to have fantasy success.”
Mike Fanelli (FantasyPros)

“I’ve become more of a fan of Jayden Higgins since the combine. His 4.47 40-yard dash raised some eyebrows, including my own. If he ends up going in the second or third round, he would be a steal. On top of that, if he ends up somewhere like the Los Angeles Chargers, who are looking for WR help, he would be my pick. Ladd McConkey is a rising star but the team would love to add more talent around him. Higgins would be a great fit.”
Andrew Hall (FantasyPros)

Jayden Higgins out of Iowa State is someone who is not getting enough love at all. Coming in at 6’4, he has the size required to be an outside force for any team that drafts him in the NFL Draft. He does not have elite speed, which will water down his value a touch, but that should not matter. He can become a team’s No. 2 wideout in time if he goes to a spot where there is a quarterback that has an elite arm. For a guy that should not require much draft capital to acquire him, it feels like a smart gamble to potentially take.”

Isaiah Bond

“The sleeper name I like at WR is Bond, Isaiah Bond. Isaiah made headlines during the NFL combine with his bold prediction that he’d break Xavier Worthy‘s record forty time 4.21. And while his 4.39 time on his second attempt came up short, Bond still showed why he was a former high school state sprint champion. An ankle injury vs Oklahoma limited his effectiveness in 2024. And in 2023, when he was at Alabama, QB Jalen Milroe threw for over 300 yards only once, once! But 007 (Bond) is healthy now, and he’ll have a better QB in the pros, which should translate to better numbers moving forward. Ringo’s comp- Jaylen Waddle.”
Mark Ringo (Sleepers and Busts)

Isaiah Bond – Much was made of Bond’s dramatic failure to beat Xavier Worthy‘s 40-yard dash time, but the fact remains that he still plays fast and is an electric talent. Bond profiles as a boom or bust type player because he did so much damage downfield in college. Deep threats can provide huge value for fantasy football, but if Bond lands on a team that plays conservatively and doesn’t look for the deep ball unless they absolutely need it, then Bond’s year-one fantasy returns could be limited. ”

Which QB or TE are you monitoring heading into the NFL Draft because you feel the right landing spot could make them a sleeper in fantasy football dynasty leagues?

Jalen Milroe

“Alabama’s Jalen Milroe needs some refinement, but the raw tools are dazzling. He’s an electric runner with a powerful arm. For a glimpse at Milroe’s potential, go back and watch his performance against the vaunted Georgia defense in September 2024. He completed 27-of-33 passes for 374 yards and two touchdowns, adding 117 rushing yards and a pair of TD runs. It’s hard to envision Milroe starting for an NFL team in 2025, but he’s worth grabbing late in dynasty drafts and tucking away.”
Pat Fitzmaurice (FantasyPros)

“There are three top QBs in this draft and a lot of project players after that. The one project I’d love to add to my dynasty roster is Jalen Milroe on the Seahawks. The team signed Geno Smith to another contract, but adding Milroe to learn behind him could escalate their exit strategy on him. Milroe comes from a college that is great at preparing players for the NFL in Alabama, and Milroe adds the rushing upside that dynasty managers love in today’s NFL. If he ends up in a situation like Seattle where he’s the clear heir apparent I’m probably taking him in the early second round of SuperFlex rookie drafts.”
Andrew Hall (FantasyPros)

Jalen Milroe – When it comes to athleticism, Milroe has bags of it, rushing for 1257 yards and 32(!) touchdowns over his last two seasons in college. The problem for Milroe is that he’s not the best at the mental side of the game and isn’t always as accurate as you’d hope for, which will keep him out of contention for a starting job on day one. However, if a team with QB issues takes Milroe, then there’s a better likelihood that we will see him take the field before the end of the season, and hopefully, that will bring with it plenty of fantasy upside.”
Tom Strachan (NFL Best Ball)

Quinn Ewers

Quinn Ewers is arguably the most polarizing quarterback in the draft class. Some love his high moments at Texas, while others are scared off by his low moments and injury history. Yet, he has talent and experience, totaling 36 starts over the past three seasons in Austin. However, it might be best for Ewers to spend the 2025 season learning on the bench behind a veteran. The ideal landing spot for him is the Los Angeles Rams. He would have a year or two to learn from Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay before taking over running a fantasy-friendly offense. If Ewers lands in Los Angeles, the former Texas star will be my most drafted rookie quarterback this year.”
Mike Fanelli (FantasyPros)

Mason Taylor

“You know you’re getting old when you have seen both a father and son play football, ugh! Mason Taylor is the son of former Miami DE Jason Taylor. And, like his Hall-of-Fame dad, Mason is very athletic. He impressed at the Senior Bowl by consistently creating separation against some of the best defensive players in the country. Ringo thinks that if you want to build a solid foundation for your dynasty team, you should grab Mason in your drafts.”
Mark Ringo (Sleepers and Busts)

Jake Briningstool

Jake Briningstool out of Clemson has a real chance to be a very solid starting tight end in the near future. Briningstool stood out for the Tigers in 2024, with seven touchdowns on the season to his name. Briningstool has unique physical traits as well, coming in at 6’6. It will probably translate to being a Day 3 NFL Draft selection, meaning he should cost managers nothing to draft in rookie drafts. All for a guy that has super soft hands that did not exhibit too many drops on tape and is a decent blocker, Briningstool could emerge from the pack and become a value for those that make that investment.”
Ed Birdsall (Talking Points Sports)

Terrance Ferguson

Terrance Ferguson displayed above-average athletic testing, finishing with the second-highest athleticism score among the tight ends who tested in this year’s combine. He was first in the vertical jump, 40-yard dash, and 10-yard split drills. With a solid 6-foot-5 and 247-pound build, it’s very encouraging for his potential at the next level. Especially when one considers his strong efficiency last year – 14th in yards per route run, 14th in Pro Football Focus (PFF) receiving grade, and third in yards after catch (YAC) per reception.”
