Wednesday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Tyrese Maxey, Cade Cunningham, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (2/12)

Wednesday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Tyrese Maxey, Cade Cunningham, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (2/12)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2/12)

Tyrese Maxey (G – PHI): 24.5 points (alt line)

Maxey had an inexplicably horrid game against the Toronto Raptors, taking just nine shots despite playing 34 minutes. Maxey finished with just five points in what may go down as one of the worst games of his career. Tyrese will look to bounce back in a major way tonight against a Brooklyn Ners team relinquishing 23.76 points per game to the point guard position. Mash the More on Maxey for Wednesday night basketball.

Pick: More

Cade Cunningham (G – DET): 19.5 points (alt line)

Cade bounced back in the scoring department, hitting the 20 point mark against the Bulls after missing the mark for the first time in 15 games against Charlotte. Cade has faced the Bull twice in the last five games, scoring 22 and 20 points. If you are chasing full multiplier plays, the Less is the value, but since we know most like More plays, the alt line comes with the highest probability (in exchange for a lower multiplier). Cade has failed to score 20 points just eight times in 49 games. Clap the More on Cade for Wednesday night at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (G – OKC): 24.5 points (alt line)

SGA has been incredible for the Thunder. Averaging 32.6 points per game on the season, SGA has scored 25 or more points in each of his last 21 games. SGA has remained consistent in the scoring department even with the return of Chet Holmgren, as Chet is not someone the Thunder need to run a lot of plays for to begin with. SGA scored 25 points against the Miami Heat when he faced them earlier this season and should be all the way up for this matchup against Andrew Wiggins and the Heat as the two teams head into the all-star break. Slap the More on SGA for Wednesday night’s NBA action.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
