Gardner Minshew II: QB not expected to be in Raiders plans for 2025
Tashan Reed of The Athletic reported that Gardner Minshew “won’t be in the Raiders’ plans at quarterback.”
Fantasy Impact
Las Vegas can save $3 million against the cap by releasing Minshew. That can raise to $6 million if they used a post-June 1 designation on his release. Aidan O’Connell is the current starter, but the Raiders could address the position in free agency or in the draft.

Gerald Everett: ‘Hard to see’ veteran TE on Bears in 2025
Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reported that “it is hard to see” Gerald Everett playing with the Bears in 2025.

Everett played in a very limited role last season. If he is released, Chicago can save $5.5 million against the cap.

Von Miller expected to be released by Bills
Mark Gaughan of Buffalo News’ said he expects the Bills to release LB Von Miller.

This is one way to open cap space for Buffalo this offseason. If Miller is a post-June 1 cut, the Bills can lower his cap figure down to $6.37 million and save $14.77 million. They save $8.4 million if he is not a post-June 1 cut.
