The NFL season is about to end with Super Bowl LIX being played between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles on February 9th.
This comes after we saw some of the talent in the 2025 NFL Draft at the Senior Bowl.
Below is my latest mock draft ahead of the Super Bowl and immediately after the Senior Bowl.
Let’s dive in.

2025 NFL Mock Draft (Round 1)
1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward (QB – Miami)
The Titans could take Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter, but they need a quarterback and Cam Ward is the best quarterback in the draft.
Don’t get cute.
2. Cleveland Browns: Abdul Carter (DE – Penn State)
As you’ll see later in this mock, the Browns will trade Myles Garrett after he requested a trade.
Now, at No. 2 overall, they’ll replace him with Abdul Carter, perhaps the best player in the draft.
3. New York Giants: Shedeur Sanders (QB – Colorado)
The Giants also need a quarterback and Shedeur Sanders is the best one on the board.
This is too early for my liking, but again, if you need a quarterback, go get him.
4. New England Patriots: Travis Hunter (CB/WR – Colorado)
With Vrabel at the helm and a dire need along the offensive line, taking an offensive lineman makes plenty of sense, but a player like Travis Hunter doesn’t come along often.
He can help opposite Christian Gonzalez and even be an offensive threat in certain situations for second-year quarterback Drake Maye.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Will Campbell (iOL – LSU)
Will Campbell played left tackle at LSU, but I think he’ll be best suited in the interior due to his arm length.
This isn’t a glamorous selection, but drafting Campbell means a fifth of your offensive line is set to protect quarterback Trevor Lawrence for the next decade.
6. Las Vegas Raiders: Will Johnson (CB – Michigan)
At 6-foot-2 and over 200 pounds, Will Johnson is a big corner who can press the bigger outside receivers.
I’ll be watching for his agility testing at the NFL Scouting Combine, which could change my stance. I have questions about whether or not he can keep up with faster wide receivers downfield.
We shall see.
7. New York Jets: Mason Graham (iOL – Michigan)
Mason Graham and Quinnen Williams in the middle of the Jets’ defensive line will make it nearly impossible for opponents to run the ball.
And, oh yeah, they can rush the passer, too.
This pick could change if they bring back quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
8. Carolina Panthers: Mike Green (DE – Marshall)
Following the Senior Bowl I’m all in on the incredibly explosive Mike Green.
Green is a bit light at around 250 pounds, but I think he can add a bit of good weight and keep that explosiveness.
The Panthers need pass-rush help badly, and Green will provide it.
9. New Orleans Saints: Tetairoa McMillan (WR – Arizona)
Outside of Chris Olave, the Saints don’t have another competent receiver.
They have other needs, but a tandem of Olave and Tetaiora McMillan could be phenomenal.
McMillan is 6-foot-6 and can play inside and outside.
10. Chicago Bears: Tyler Booker (iOL – Alabama)
The first surprise of this mock draft is Tyler Booker landing in Chicago.
The Bears desperately need offensive line help and Booker is an incredibly solid prospect.
He’s 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds. He’ll be put in the interior and help block in the pass and run games for this atrocious offensive line.
They need to get protection for quarterback Caleb Williams.
11. San Francisco 49ers: Josh Simmons (OT – Ohio State)
Josh Simmons didn’t get to play much at Ohio State before suffering a season-ending knee injury in October. He’s a massive left tackle listed at 6-foot-5 and over 300 pounds.
I’ll be curious to know if we can get any more insight into his health, which could impact this selection.
12. Dallas Cowboys: James Pearce Jr. (DE – Tennessee)
Running back Ashton Jeanty is often mocked to the Cowboys. While that’s certainly understandable, they need to add some pass rush, especially with DeMarcus Lawrence hitting free agency.
James Pearce Jr. is explosive and has a unique frame at 6-foot-5 and 243 pounds.
A tandem of him and Micah Parsons will be fun to watch. They need explosive EDGE rushers to track down Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
13. Miami Dolphins: Kelvin Banks Jr. (OL – Texas)
I’m not sure if Kelvin Banks Jr. will end up at tackle, but he has strength and quickness I can appreciate in an offensive lineman. I think some areas of his game could be cleaned up, but I wonder if those things are mitigated as a guard.
Either way, the Dolphins are getting a great offensive lineman.
14. Indianapolis Colts: Tyler Warren (TE – Penn State)
The Colts need to add weapons for quarterback Anthony Richardson, including at tight end.
Tyler Warren was a massive part of the Penn State offense. He’ll step in and contribute immediately.
15. Atlanta Falcons: Mykel Williams (DE – Georgia)
The Falcons’ pass rush improved toward the end of the season, but they need even more help.
Mykel Williams brings a physical profile of 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds.
He also has some of the longest arms you’ll see from an EDGE rusher, which will help him get around opposing tackles.
16. Arizona Cardinals: Armand Membou (OL – Missouri)
Armand Membou primarily played right tackle at Missouri. This conflicts with Jonah Williams, who has one year left on his deal, but I think you can move either one to right guard as an immediate upgrade over Isaiah Adams.
17. Cincinnati Bengals: Emeka Egbuka (WR – Ohio State)
It seems like Tee Higgins is on his way out. No receiver in this draft will replace him, but Emeka Egbuka is a tough receiver who can play in the slot and outside.
18. Seattle Seahawks: Grey Zabel (iOL – North Dakota State)
Grey Zabel feels like a Seahawk, doesn’t he?
He was sensational at the Senior Bowl and has experience at almost every position along the offensive line.
At North Dakota State, he was excellent in pass protection.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Shemar Stewart (DE – Texas A&M)
I’d like to see Shemar Stewart generate more sacks, but with his explosiveness and long arms, he’ll be able to pressure opposing quarterbacks.
The Buccaneers just hired veteran coach Charlie Strong to be their defensive line coach. He’d certainly be thrilled to work with a player of Stewart’s ability.
20. Denver Broncos: Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State)
Falling to 20 is Ashton Jeanty. There were just more pressing needs for the teams ahead of this pick.
However, the Broncos need to add a back that can help them right now. The group of Javonte Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin, Audric Estime and company doesn’t amount to what Jeanty brings to the table.
A duo of Bo Nix at quarterback and Jeanty at running back would be excellent in helping the Broncos ascend further in 2025 and beyond.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Matthew Golden (WR – Texas)
Matthew Golden is pretty average in size (around six feet). He has awesome ball skills and would be a fantastic complement to George Pickens.
He’ll be a reliable weapon for whoever is throwing him passes in 2025.
22. Los Angeles Chargers: Colston Loveland (TE – Michigan)
Jim Harbaugh reunites with Colston Loveland, a player who’ll be an immediate starter for the Chargers and make big plays from Day 1.
23. Green Bay Packers: Jahdae Barron (CB – Texas)
Jahdae Barron can play all over the field and seeks to make plays on the ball and finish tackles.
This type of player will be helpful for the Packers, especially with Jaire Alexander‘s health issues.
24. Minnesota Vikings: Walter Nolen (iOL – Ole Miss)
Walter Nolen will immediately help against the run and can also rush the passer. He’d be excellent in helping EDGE rushers Jonathan Bullard, Andrew Van Ginkel and Jonathan Greenard to pressure the quarterback.
He was fantastic at the Senior Bowl.
I’d love to see what Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores can do with him.
25. Houston Texans: Luther Burden III (WR – Missouri)
It’s not looking good for wide receiver Tank Dell to play in 2025 after suffering a gruesome knee injury late in the season.
Luther Burden III will add a lot of speed to the Texans’ receiver room and help quarterback C.J. Stroud massively.
26. Los Angeles Rams: Josh Conerly Jr. (OT – Oregon)
Josh Conerly Jr. was on the receiving end of getting bulldozed by Mike Green at the Senior Bowl, but don’t overreact to one play.
Conerly allowed just two sacks his entire career at Oregon.
27. Baltimore Ravens: Malaki Starks (S – Georgia)
This is a pure best-player-available approach. While the Ravens improved in pass defense as the season went on, adding Malaki Starks to team up with Kyle Hamilton would be lethal.
I also considered Aireontae Ersery here.
28. Detroit Lions: Azareye’h Thomas (CB – Florida State)
Azareye’h Thomas is a big cornerback who’ll bring a level of physicality Lions head coach Dan Campbell will appreciate.
The Lions need to keep adding talent to the secondary. They allowed the third-most passing yards per game this season.
***TRADE ALERT***
29. Cleveland Browns (from Washington Commanders): Donovan Ezeiruaku (DE – Boston College)
Here we go — the Browns trade away Myles Garret.
Garrett lands with a legitimate contender in what I’d consider the easier of the two conferences. The Commanders also have a ton of cap space.
With this additional pick before the first round ends and picking again at No. 33, I say the Browns double-up at EDGE rusher and bring in Donovan Ezeiruaku. He’s got the perfect frame for an EDGE rusher and has a plethora of pass-rushing moves.
The Browns say goodbye to Garrett but reload with Abdul Carter and Ezeiruaku. Not bad.
30. Buffalo Bills: Benjamin Morrison (CB – Notre Dame)
OK, I’ll roll the dice now.
I want to make it clear that this relies massively on Benjamin Morrison’s hip injury.
That said, if Morrison is healthy, he will help improve a Bills secondary that’s been hurting for talent for years.
31. Kansas City Chiefs: Jalon Walker (LB – Georgia)
Jalon Walker played off the edge and off-ball at Georgia, but I think he’s better suited at rushing the passer.
He’ll help bring additional pass rush off the edge along with Mike Danna and George Karlaftis, along with Chris Jones, creating pressure on the interior.
I think he has a chance to be the steal of the draft.
32. Philadelphia Eagles: Jack Sawyer (DE – Ohio State)
Josh Sweat is likely hitting free agency and Brandon Graham might be playing his final season.
Jack Sawyer is a power rusher who’ll also help in the run game.
He brings a physicality that’ll fit in with the Eagles.
And, oh yeah, by picking No. 32, I’m predicting the Eagles win the Super Bowl.
