Roki Sasaki likely to start Dodgers second game of season
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Roki Sasaki is “likely” to start the second game of the Dodgers opening series in Japan against the Cubs.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto was named the starter for the series opener. Roberts said he expected both Sasaki and Yamamoto to pitch in Japan, so it comes as no surprise that they will each start one of the games to open the season in Japan.

Royals right-hander Kyle Wright is expected to have a normal spring training after missing the entire 2024 season following right shoulder surgery.

Wright has yet to make his Royals debut following a trade from the Braves in the 2023 season. He worked to a dreadful 6.97 ERA in nine outings (seven starts) that season but also tossed a quality 3.19 ERA in 30 starts in 2022, going 21-5 in the process. If healthy, he could be a nice late-round pick in fantasy drafts this spring.
