PGA DraftKings and FanDuel DFS Primer: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (2025)

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am awaits 80 golfers who qualified for the second of eight Signature Events on the 2025 PGA Tour circuit. This season, golfers will play once on the Spyglass Hill golf course and three times on Pebble Beach Golf Links, without any cut line enforced. Defending champion, Wyndham Clark, won after just 54 holes played due to bad weather conditions but the forecast this week is much more promising along the shores of northern California.

Last week’s Farmers Insurance Open DFS Primer didn’t have much success, with Adam Schenk turning in the best performance out of my four plays with a T25 finish at even par. Torrey Pines’ difficulty was accentuated with winds, forcing golfers to aggressively scramble and finish with ugly scorecards. Harris English ended a four-year winning drought at 8-under-par. My other recommended players in DFS fizzled out. Will Zalatoris withdrew a day before, while Mark Hubbard (T68) and Alex Smalley (MC) returned virtually no value in lineups.

Here’s my latest DFS Primer on the 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am from Pebble Beach, California. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more DFS PGA and weekly golf analysis.

          Course Overview

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is played over two different par 72 courses, Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course. Each runs under 7,100 yards in length but compensates with some of the PGA Tour’s smallest greens, comprised of Poa Annua surfaces.

Fairways and rough are Princeville Bentgrass, with rough measuring up to three inches. Most of these par 4s are under 450 yards and fairways aren’t nearly as tight as what we just watched at Torrey Pines. Putting takes a backseat to ball-striking accuracy, so golfers who can either hit their approach shots closest to the hole or effectively scramble hold the upper-hand.

Coastal winds always form a primary hazard here but there isn’t an excessive amount of water to avoid. There are plenty of sand bunkers flanking the small Poa Annua greens, which will run up to 12 feet via Stimpmeter, so velocity is a bit slower than we’ve seen compared to recent events.

          Recommended Plays: DraftKings

DraftKings maximum salary is set at $50,000

          Keegan Bradley: $8,500

Keegan Bradley’s ball-striking piques my interest at $8.5K on DraftKings. Bradley has had a solid start to 2025, ranking 18th in total strokes gained, including 36th on approach, and 35th total driving.

He’s 15th in par 4 scoring average, 32nd in total scoring average, and averages 4.58 birdies per round. I expect a similar outcome to Bradley’s T11 finish at Pebble Beach last season, which was cut one round short due to weather. At this price, make sure to prioritize the Ryder Cup captain in your DraftKings DFS lineups.

          Shane Lowry: $8,000

Shane Lowry returns to Pebble Beach for the first time since missing the cut at even par back in 202o. The Irishman is a fantastic ball-striker, which is why I’m prioritizing him in my builds at an even $8K salary. His debut at Torrey Pines last week resulted in a missed cut but I’m willing to back Lowry’s talent in better conditions at a course that rewards accuracy on approach.

          Recommended Plays: FanDuel

FanDuel maximum salary is set at $60,000

          Taylor Pendrith: $9,900

Canadian golfer Taylor Pendrith finally broke through with his first PGA Tour win last season and he’s carried this momentum into 2025. Pendrith ranks seven in SG: Tee-to-Green, 13th SG: Off-the-Tee, and 16th in total driving.

He’s hitting greens in regulation at a 78 percent clip and logged a T7 at Pebble Beach in 2023. Make sure to add Pendrith into FanDuel lineups at under $10,000.

          Aaron Rai: $8,500

We’ve yet to see consistency from Aaron Rai in 2025 but he’s among the best iron players on the PGA Tour. Rai will make his debut at Pebble Beach this week and should be able to hunt flagsticks. He’s ranked ninth in driving accuracy and is converting 75 percent of greens in regulation.

Rai ranks 25th in birdies per round with an even 5.00 and is inside the top-40 for par 4 scoring. Surprisingly, Rai’s approach shot metrics are outside the top-100, but I expect this to change throughout the weekend, especially without a cut line to overcome.

Rai is a high-risk, high-reward player who has proven that he can find greens in regulation with consistency throughout his career, so make sure to add the Englishman at $8.5K on FanDuel.
