NFL Week 18 Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2024)

NFL Week 18 Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2024)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for this week’s NFL action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NFL more/less picks.

Sleeper Picks NFL Week 18

2024 Season record: 34-16

Malik Nabers (WR – NYG): 4.5 receptions

Malik has been excellent over his last few games, seemingly establishing a strong rapport with Drew Lock. Since Week 13, when Lock took over under center (he missed Week 15), Nabers has averaged 11.8 targets, 7.4 receptions, and 93.8 receiving yards per game. The actual line is set at 6.5 here, which Nabers should still surpass, but with this being Week 18, we are not going to stretch it. We know the Giants, at least organizationally, would prefer to lose this game, so pulling Nabers after he surpasses Puka Nacua’s rookie wide receiver receptions record may be in the cards. And then there is trusting Drew Lock not to play down to the level of his opponents when he sees the Eagles resting key starters. However, with Brian Daboll likely coaching for his life as a head coach, he may be all gas, even if it costs the team a chance at Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward. Roll with the alt line number for the win. Nick the More on Nabers for Week 18’s NFL action.

Pick: More

Jalen McMillan (WR – TB): 46.5 receiving yards

Jalen is becoming a star for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, reminding the world of why he was the second option at Washington when first round pick Rome Odunze and second round pick Ja’Lynn Polk were all healthy. McMillan has recorded 51 or more receiving yards in four straight games, finding the end zone in each, totaling six scores over that four game stretch. The yardage totals could and should be better, which leaves some room for concern if Chris Godwin is back with the team next year. With that said, the 46.5 line will likely be an option next season, even if Jalen is the number three. Mash the More on McMillan for Sunday afternoon at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Jahmyr Gibbs (RB – DET): 85.5 rushing yards

Jahmyr has been getting the workhorse treatment since David Montgomery has been sidelined, seeing 23 and 18 carries or 27 and 22 touches. This was his highest back-to-back workload all season. Gibbs has had success against Minnesota this season, rushing for 116 yards on 15 carries back in Week 6. Now at home in a true featured role in a battle for the number one seed in the NFC, Gibbs should hit at least 86 rushing yards in what will likely prove to be one of the biggest games of the season. Jab the More on Jahmyr for Week 18 at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
