Christian McCaffrey (knee) says he is close to being fully healthy
Christian McCaffrey said he’s “definitely close” to fully recovered from knee injury that ended his season.

McCaffrey said he would have been able to return had the 49ers made the playoffs. Instead, he will rehab to make a full recovery by the start of the offseason program.

Deshaun Watson (Achilles) has suffered a setback in his recovery from an Achilles injury.

Not much is known at time of writing about how severe the setback is, all that is known is that it will delay his recovery. Even so, Watson’s time as Cleveland’s starter is in jeopardy.
