Wednesday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Domantas Sabonis, Keyonte George, Karl-Anthony Towns (12/18)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (12/18)

Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): 0.5 double doubles

Domantas continues to roll for the Kings, averaging 21.5 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. He leads the league with 23 double doubles in 25 games played and is a near nightly lock for at least 10 and 10, thanks not only to his rebounding prowess but his ability to rack up assists and hit triple doubles. Sabonis has recorded a double double in five straight and in 23 of his last 24 contests. Domantas went off for 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists against the Los Angeles Lakers early in the season and remains the highest probability play on the board, even though a play below is coming close. Pick: More

Keyonte George (G – UTA): 3.5 assists (alt line)

Keyonte struggled from the field his last time out but remained steady as a distributor, handing out seven assists against the Los Angeles Clippers. Keyonte has dished out four or more assists in seven straight contests and is in an excellent position to do so again tonight against a Detroit Pistons team surrendering 7.73 assists per game to opposing point guards. Grab the More on George for Wednesday night’s action.

Pick: More

Karl-Anthony Towns (F/C – NYK): 0.5 double doubles

Towns leads the NBA with 13.9 rebounds per game and is second in the association with 22 double doubles in 24 games played. KAT has been a revelation for the Knicks and represents a massive upgrade on what Julius Randle, for all his scoring talent, could provide. Towns should be highly motivated in tonight’s revenge game, so the point total also has some appeal here, but the double double play has a sizable probability advantage due to his recent success on the boards. Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
