Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.
NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (12/17)
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (G – OKC): 24.5 points (alt line)
SGA has been so hot that even the 30 point alt line offers plus value. He has averaged 33.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists over his last nine games, scoring at least 30 in eight of them. Tap SGA to drain at least 25 points on a Bucks team relinquishing 22.28 points per game to the point guard position. Slap the More on Shai for Tuesday night basketball.
Pick: More
Damian Lillard (G – MIL): 19.5 points (alt line)
Dame continues his solid play for the Bucks, scoring 20 or more points in 10 of his last 11 games. He is averaging 25.7 points per game and has an excellent opportunity to hit the 20 needed for this alt line tonight, thanks to a head-to-head matchup against one of the best in the league in Gilgeous-Alexander. Dame should be rearing to go not only due to facing off against SGA but also because the NBA Cup may likely be the only team hardware he will ever hoist in his career. Dap the More on Dame for Tuesday night’s action.
Pick: More
Giannis Antetokounmpo (F – MIL): 24.5 points
Giannis has been on fire for the Bucks. He has been playing at an elite level, averaging 34.4 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game over his last 10 games. Giannis scored 28 or more points in each of those games and is in an excellent position to score at least that many tonight against Oklahoma City. Grab the More on Giannis for Tuesday night at Sleeper Picks.
Pick: More
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
