Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for this week’s NFL action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NFL more/less picks.
Sleeper Picks NFL Week 17
2024 Season record: 31-16
Chase continues his elite play this season, finally solidifying his case to be viewed as the top receiver in all of football. Chase has 75 or more receiving yards in each of his last six games, a stretch in which he averaged 132.16 receiving yards per game. The Bengals are still alive, at least mathematically, so expect them to be firing on all cylinders against a team they are chasing in the wild card race. The full line would normally be in play, but in cold weather with Pat Surtain in coverage, the alt line is the play, even if it results in a lower multiplier. Jab the More on Ja’Marr for Saturday afternoon at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More
Sutton has come back to earth after an elite six week stretch from Week 8 to Week 13 but is still a strong play at his alt line number of 49.5 receiving yards. The 66.5 makes no sense, given that he has failed to record more than 50 yards in each of his last two games, and the Less is risky given Sutton’s chemistry with Bo Nix and the Cincinnati Bengals lackadaisical pass defense. Sutton has recorded 50 or more receiving yards in seven of his last eight games and in 10 of his last 13. Slap the More on Sutton for Week 17 at Sleeper Picks.
Pick: More
Brandin Cooks at 30.5 receiving yards is a steal with CeeDee Lamb shut down for the season. The Lamb news broke under an hour ago, so there is a strong chance that this line will be removed or raised significantly by the time you read this, but if it is still on the board, it is a must-play. Cooks will be a play up to 49.5 receiving yards, even if you have to hit an alt line to do it. The 31 receiving yards is tremendous value, with Cooks taking over as the number one receiver for the Cowboys and already displaying solid chemistry with Cooper Rush. Cooks found the end zone in his first two games this season and has recorded 34 or more receiving yards in each of his last two games. Suffice it to say that the 30.5 receiving yard line (which is still up as of 12:01 am on Friday with a 1.76x multiplier) is one of the most attractive lines we have seen all season. Clap the More on Cooks for Sunday afternoon football at Sleeper Picks.
Pick: More
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
