Friday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Kevin Durant, James Harden, Ja Morant (12/13)

Friday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Kevin Durant, James Harden, Ja Morant (12/13)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (12/13)

Kevin Durant (F – PHX): 19.5 points (alt line)

KD is expected to play tonight and is a strong alt line value at 19.5 points. KD is having a down season by his standards but has struggled to stay on the court. When healthy, he is more than capable of turning it on when needed. KD has scored 20 or more points in 11 of his 13 games this season and has an excellent opportunity to hit that number tonight against a Utah Jazz team allowing 20.65 points per game to the power forward position. Dap the More on Durant for Friday night’s action.

Pick: More

James Harden (G – LAC): 19.5 points (alt line)

Harden struggled his last time out but is still going to be leaned on as a scorer tonight against the Denver Nuggets. He looks to be over the groin injury that limited him against the Minnesota Timberwolves and kept him out against the Houston Rockets and should be primed for another high-volume night against Nikola Jokic and co. Harden has scored 20 or more points in seven of his last nine and is in an excellent position to do so again tonight against a Denver Nuggets team he dropped 23 points and 39 points on earlier this season. Hit the More on Harden for Friday night basketball.

Pick: More

Ja Morant (G – MEM): 19.5 points (alt line)

Ja has been solid when he has been on the court this season, averaging 21.7 points and 8.5 assists per game. The scoring average is destined to rise as the season progresses, as Ja has not been as aggressive as he has been in prior seasons. Ja has scored 20 or more points in six of his last eight games but 23 or more in just four of them, making the alt line the play here. Morant scored 25 points when he faced off against the Brooklyn Nets in early November. Jab the More on Ja for Friday night at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
