Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Early Week 15 Pickups to Add
Tank Bigsby (RB – JAX)
Rostered: 35.7%
Bigsby took 18 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown today. He is, at worst, a Travis Etienne handcuff, but given how wayward this Jacksonville season is looking, Bigsby looks more likely to lead the Jaguars’ backfield in the coming weeks. I’d be comfortable starting Bigsby as a flex in 12-team leagues.
Sincere McCormick (RB – LV)
Rostered: 11.2%
As their lost season draws to an end, the Raiders would be wise to continue feeding their young, talented running back in McCormick. McCormick is 24 and was undrafted in 2022. He spent two seasons injured and/or on a practice squad. Now, however, he’s got his chance, and he’s running with it.
Over the last three weeks, McCormick has had 32 carries for 175 yards (5.5 yards per carry).
If Zamir White and Alexander Mattison continue to be out, I’m starting McCormick as a flex in all formats.
Isaiah Davis (RB – NYJ)
Rostered: 3.4%
Breece Hall missed today’s game, and Davis, a 2024 fifth-round pick, took advantage of the opportunity, scoring a first-half touchdown.
Hall is reportedly expected to return this season, but in a lost Jets season, I’ll believe that when I see it. In games without Hall, I’d expect Davis to see double-digit touches.
Jaylen Wright (RB – MIA)
Rostered: 4.8%
Raheem Mostert was inactive today, making Wright the RB2 behind De’Vone Achane. With Achane active, I’d be hesitant to consider Wright a starter, but Achane’s injury history is real. Achane even entered the blue medical tent today.
I’m making Wright a priority addition in all formats.
Tyler Allgeier (RB – ATL)
Rostered: 37.8%
Not only is Allgeier the Bijan Robinson handcuff, but he’s also steadily involved in the Falcons’ game plan. If you roster Robinson and Allgeier is on the waiver wire, make it a priority to acquire Allgeier.
Adam Thielen (WR – CAR)
Rostered: 38.7%
Thielen is 34 years old and missed weeks four through 11 with an injury. However, somehow, he’s still performing. In his last three games, Thielen has 20 catches for 258 yards and a touchdown. Given the Panthers expectation of trailing in football games and, therefore, passing to catch up, I’m comfortable with Thielen as a flex play in most formats.
Tim Patrick (WR – DET)
Rostered: 0.6%
Is Patrick’s two-touchdown Thursday predictably repeatable? No. However, with 38.6 fantasy points in his last three weeks, Patrick should be rostered in more than 0.6% of leagues. He’s flex-worthy if I’m in a precarious spot in a 12-team league, but I’d be much more comfortable starting him in deeper formats.
Ray-Ray McCloud (WR – ATL)
Rostered: 12.0%
McCloud is becoming an integral part of the Falcons’ game plan. He’s getting plays drawn up for him at all field levels and Kirk Cousins (QB – ATL) is also looking to McCloud on crucial third downs. With Drake London and Darnell Mooney healthy, McCloud’s ceiling is limited, but his floor is viable given his rostership.
Atlanta Falcons D/ST
Rostered: 8.8%
The Falcons head to Las Vegas next weekend to take on the Raiders, and in Week 16, they host the New York Giants. Those are two matchups that make the Falcons D/ST worthy of a start.
