4 Fantasy Football Burning Questions: Week 13 (2024)

We are approaching the fantasy playoffs, and it’s getting tense. Some of us will cruise to a playoff spot, while these next couple of weeks will decide everything. Some stars have not played up to par and were nervous about how we should start. We’ll talk about them in this week’s burning questions.

Fantasy Football Burning Questions: Week 13 (2024)

Was Last Week An Indication That Jaylen Warren Is The Guy In The Steelers Backfield?

It looked like Najee Harris was the definitive lead back throughout the year, but things might be shifting. The snap share is an indication of who’s been the hot hand. Warren has been able to do more with fewer opportunities, but last week, he saw a big jump with a 57% snap share and was again the better back. With the Steelers in a tight race in the AFC, they will go with who is producing.

This will never be a 70-30% snap share, but Warren could approach 60% if he produces.

Is Marvin Harrison Jr. Too Risky To Start?

Welcome to the risky world of drafting rookie wide receivers. Some of us went to grab Harrison Jr. early, and it’s been nothing but frustration, while some waited on Ladd McConkey and are reaping the benefits.

Harrison has been boom or bust, with extra emphasis on the bust. He has only three finishes in the top 20 and five outside of the top 45.

The air attack with Kyler Murray hasn’t been there, and Harrison isn’t getting great opportunities to make catches. According to player profiler, his 68.2% catchable target rate is 57th among wide receivers.

You want to start him, considering where you drafted him, but it’s not worth it if you’re trying to make the playoffs.

Can Jonathan Taylor Rebound?

It hasn’t been good for Taylor since Anthony Richardson returned to the lineup. He has just one game over nine fantasy points in one of his last three games.

He’s still getting the volume of at least 23 touches in two of the last three games. This week, he gets the Patriots, who have allowed nearly 15 points per game to running backs.

Should I Go Into The Playoffs With CJ Stroud As My Quarterback?

We certainly feel Stroud’s sophomore slump, as he currently sits at QB15. The injuries were huge when he lost Stefon Diggs for the season, and Nico Collins went on IR.

He finally had his first 15+ fantasy point performance since Week 6, and this week could be another spectacular performance. He’ll face Jacksonville, where he had a season-high 23 fantasy points in the last game and his only top-ten finish.

His remaining schedule isn’t ideal; he has a bye in likely your first round of the playoffs, followed by Miami, Kansas City, and Baltimore. I would see if you can find someone with a more favourable schedule.
