Wednesday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Donovan Mitchell, Karl Anthony-Towns, Domantas Sabonis (11/13)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (11/13)

Donovan Mitchell (G – CLE): 6.5 1st quarter points

The Mitchell line has still yet to be posted as of writing due to the uncertainty regarding whether or not Joel Embiid is playing or not. It was posted at 5.5 last game and should spike back up to 6.5 after another strong first quarter showing. Donovan has scored seven or more first quarter points in seven of his last nine games, a stretch in which he has averaged a league high 10.4 points per first quarter. Donovan is an automatic play whenever his line is under seven, which, in all honesty, may not be for long unless he has another off-start to open a game. Take advantage of the availability of this line for as long as we can. Dap the More on Donovan for Wednesday night’s action.

Pick: More

Karl Anthony-Towns (F/C – NYK) : 19.5 points (alt line)

KAT has been excellent for the Knicks this season, averaging 24.5 points per game. Towns got the tap over DeMar DeRozan here simply due to being posted much earlier at Sleeper Picks. He is not as high a probability of a play as DeMar, so regular readers of this column should act accordingly. KAT has scored 20 or more in six of his last seven games and is in an excellent position to do so again tonight against a Chicago Bulls team surrendering 22.71 points per game to the center position. Tap the More on Towns for Wednesday night at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): 0.5 double doubles

Domantas should simply be referred to as the walking double double. He set an NBA record with 77 last season and has recorded one in all 10 games since the season opener. He’s averaging 12.8 rebounds per game and already has three triple doubles on the season. Sabonis double double is the play whenever it is available at Sleeper Picks. The average time before this line expires looks to be decreasing, so it bears repeating: lock this one in even before you see this column in the morning. We will be tailing it all year, and the earlier you get in, the higher your multiplier will be. Dap the More on Domantas for Wednesday night basketball.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
