Thursday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Anthony Edwards, Chris Paul, Jerami Grant (11/7)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (11/7)

Anthony Edwards (G/F – MIN): 19.5 points (alt line)

Ant-Man has been excellent for the Timberwolves this season, averaging 27.3 points per game. He has scored at least 20 points in every game and is in an excellent position to do so again tonight against the Bulls. Chicago has surrendered 24.8 points per game to the shooting guard position. Hit the More on Edwards for Thursday night’s action.

Pick: More

Chris Paul (G – SAS): 1.5 three pointers made

Chris Paul has been a solid addition for the San Antonio Spurs. The assist numbers have been impressive, if inconsistent, but the major boost he has provided is an improved stroke from deep. Paul has drained three or more three pointers in five of his last six and two or more in all six. This is the first season since his Rockets days that he has averaged over 2.0 three pointers per game (2.4), and although it’s over a small sample, he is hitting them at a career high .434 clip. Portland has relinquished 3.42 three pointers per game to opposing point guards, putting Paul in an excellent position to hit at least two again tonight. Push the More on Paul for Thursday night at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Jerami Grant (F – POR): 0.5 1st quarter rebounds

This is not the type of total we usually touch in this column, but with the Bucks-Jazz lines still in limbo as of this morning, there are limited options to choose from. This was one of the standout lines, as Grant has hauled in at least one first quarter rebound in every game this season, averaging 1.2 per contest. Jab the More on Jerami for Thursday night basketball.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
