Saquon Barkley (RB – PHI): 74.5 rushing yards (alt line)
Saquon scintillated against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night, exploding for 255 rushing yards. He leads the NFL with 1,392 rushing yards or 126.5 per game. He has topped 75 rushing yards in nine of his 11 games this season and is in an excellent position to do so again in a contest where the gameplan will be to control the clock and keep Lamar Jackson off the field. He should still eat even if the Eagles fall behind, as the Eagles staff has wisely realized that their offense goes as Saquon goes. Knocking this number down from 91.5 skyrockets the probability of the More hitting, especially with potential negative gamescript concerns. Baltimore has been stingy on the ground this season but recently allowed the Steelers duo of Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren to rumble for 104 combined rushing yards. Derrick Henry (RB – BAL): 74.5 rushing yards (alt line)
Derrick Henry has been elite with the Ravens. He is second in the NFL with 1,325 rushing yards or 110.4 per game. However, what has been alarming is ‘how much more meat is left on the bone’, so to speak, in terms of Henry’s usage, or lack thereof at times in most of the Ravens games this season. Underutilized is not something you normally associate with someone who has 221 carries in 12 games, but for context, Saquon has 223 in 11. Henry has rushed for 75 or more rushing yards in eight of his 12 contests and looks primed to do so again this weekend against an Eagles team that surrendered 84 or more rushing yards to Josh Jacobs, Bijan Robinson, and Alvin Kamara. Bucky Irving (RB – TB): 56.5 rushing yards
With Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley going head to head this week, we will keep this to a running back theme and tap Bucky Irving rushing yards. Bucky has impressed from the get-go this season and is slowly but surely establishing himself as the clear lead back. Bucky has rushed for 73 or more yards in two straight contests and has topped that mark in all three games he has seen double digit carries in.
