Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.
NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (11/4)
Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): 0.5 double doubles
The reigning double double and triple double King has recorded a double double in five straight games and in five of six overall. The Lithuanian big man already has two triple doubles this season after leading the league in the category during the 2023-24 campaign, making him a triple threat for this type of total. Sabonis registered 77 double doubles last season, shattering the 72 posted by Hakeem Olajuwon in 1992-93. Sabonis is averaging 13.0 rebounds per game this season. Dap the More on Domantas for Monday night at Sleeper Picks.
Pick: More
DeMar DeRozan (G/F – SAC): 19.5 points (alt line)
DeMar DeRozan has been a good fit for the Kings lineup, giving them a reliable go-to option to pair with Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox. DeMar has scored 20 or more points in every game this season and is averaging 25.3 points per game. I don’t think many anticipated DeRozan coming in and leading the team in scoring, but he’s stepping up and filling the role the Kings need of him to great success so far. It does help that all three former all-stars now have more space to operate than ever before, so expect DeRozan, who has continued to be a top option at all of his stops post-Toronto, to continue filling it up for a Kings team that needs his scoring punch. Miami has relinquished 21.57 points per game to the small forward position this season. Dap the More on DeRozan for Monday night basketball.
Pick: More
Donovan Mitchell (G – CLE): 5.5 1st quarter points
Donovan has been the tone-setter for the Cavaliers in most of his games this season, averaging 6.9 points per first quarter. He has scored seven or more in three of his last five first quarters and should look to come out more aggressive tonight after being held to just six in the opening frame against these same Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. For those who are averse to first quarter plays, the 19.5 alt line is worth a look. Mash the More on Mitchell for Monday night’s action.
Pick: More
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
