Friday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Domantas Sabonis, Donovan Mitchell, Karl Anthony-Towns (11/15)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (11/15)

Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): 0.5 double doubles

Sabonis narrowly missed the triple double his last time out but also gave us some trepidation as far as the double double was concerned, finishing with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists. Sabonis has now recorded a double double in 11 straight games and looks primed to challenge the NBA record of 77 he set last season. It is, however, worth mentioning that Sabonis’ only game without a double double came against the Timberwolves in the season opener. We are chalking that up to opening night blues as Domantas has two convincing double doubles and one triple double against a superior version of the T’Wolves’ frontcourt. Slap the More on Sabonis for Friday night at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Donovan Mitchell (G – CLE): 5.5 1st quarter points

Donovan had a rare disappearing act in the first quarter against the 76ers as Philadelphia made a concerted effort to let anyone else beat them in a quarter Mitchell is known for torching opposing defenses in. Donovan has hit seven or more first quarter points in four of his last six games and is in an excellent position to do so again tonight against a Chicago Bulls team he exploded for 14 first quarter points against on Monday. Dap the More on Donovan for Friday night’s action.

Pick: More

Karl Anthony-Towns (F/C – NYK): 19.5 points (alt line)

KAT exploded for 46 points on Wednesday and will look to carry that momentum into tonight’s matchup with the Brooklyn Nets. Towns has scored 21 or more in eight of his 11 games this season, in seven of his past eight, and in five straight. He is averaging 26.5 points per game on the season and should be able to feast on an undersized Nets frontcourt allowing 25.91 points per game to the center position. Tap the More on Towns for Friday night basketball.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
