Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.
NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (11/29)
Cade Cunningham (G – DET): 19.5 points (alt line)
Cade has missed the last three games with a hip injury but looks set to return tonight after being upgraded from the doubtful tag he was assigned prior to the last three Pistons contests to questionable. Cade has scored 20 or more points in 14 of his 17 games this season and is in an excellent position to do so again tonight against an Indiana team he dropped 28 on to open the season. Clap the More on Cade for Friday night at Sleeper Picks.
Pick: More
Karl-Anthony Towns (C – NYK): 19.5 points (alt line)
KAT and the New York Knicks are set to tip off Black Friday’s slate with a showdown against what could be an extremely short handed Charlotte Hornets team. The alt line is the play again, as while KAT has cleared 20 points in 13 of his 17 games this season, he has only topped 26 in eight of 16. KAT should be ready to have another feast on Friday afternoon against a depleted Hornets frontcourt allowing 20.83 points per game to the center position. Tap the More on Towns for Friday night basketball.
Pick: More
Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): 0.5 double doubles
Sabonis continues to chug along as if a nightly double double has become the expectation, because it has. After leading the league and setting an all-time record with 77 double doubles last season, Sabonis has put up at least 10 and 10 in 16 straight and in 16 of 17 overall. This has been echoed here before, but it is worth noting again this is an every game play; lock it in as soon as it is posted at Sleeper Picks in order to secure the best multiplier possible. Domantas put up 16 points and 13 rebounds against Charlotte in late October and should be able to register his 17th straight double double tonight with relative ease. Slap the More on Sabonis for Friday night’s action.
Pick: More
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
