I hope you were able to follow my Week 10 advice. It started on a super low note, with falling for Daniel Jones again. When will we ever learn? Jones was abysmal against the Carolina Panthers. He was so bad that He might be a spectator from the sidelines starting this week.

Enough of the negative discussion. We now head to the Week 1 fantasy smashes, which include Jonathan Taylor, who rushed for 114 yards against the Buffalo Bills. Rookie running back Tyrone Tracy, Jr., was impressive against the Panthers with 103 rushing yards and a score. He was outstanding until he coughed a fumble in overtime, which led to the Panthers’ game-winning field goal.

George Pickens led the wide receiver fantasy parade with five receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown. Pickens is loving Russell Wilson. Tank Dell and Khalil Shakir provided modest numbers along with Taysom Hill, but Hill did have an 88-yard touchdown called back! NO bueno! The Vikings’ defense stepped up against the Jacksonville Jaguars by producing three sacks, causing two interceptions, and holding the Jags to only seven points.

Fantasy Football Smash Starts For Week 11

Quarterback

Russell Wilson (QB – PIT) vs. Baltimore

Russell Wilson is getting the job done since he took over for Justin Fields as the Steelers quarterback. Wilson has led the Steelers to three consecutive wins and has a juicy matchup against the Baltimore Ravens defense in Week 11. Fantasy managers know that the Ravens’s weak link is their pass defense. They have allowed 294.9 passing yards per game, the most in the league. In addition, the Ravens’ defense allows 22.7 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, the second-most in the league.

Opposing quarterbacks have put up massive numbers against the Baltimore defense. Russell Wilson will be the next quarterback to light up the Ravens. Wilson is playing his best ball, and his success and chemistry with George Pickens have catapulted him into QB1 status. Wilson continues riding his recent success to a multi-touchdown fantasy output in this intense AFC North battle.

Running Back

Nick Chubb (RB – CLE) at New Orleans

Nick Chubb disappointed fantasy managers who took the plunge in their drafts. This season, His expected return from multi-ligament knee surgery had fantasy managers concerned about when to pull the trigger on the Browns running back. Chubb has not looked like himself so far, even after three games. He has rushed for over 50 yards in just one game and has 42 carries for 113 yards and a score this season.

The Browns are returning from their bye week and will face the New Orleans Saints this week. Only four teams have allowed more rushing yards than the Saints this season, and only three have given up more rushing scores. This matchup seems to be the perfect bounce-back opportunity for Chubb. Another negative factor for Chubb is that the Browns offense is abysmal. They rank 31st in total offense and 28th in the running game.

Head Coach Kevin Stefanski should lean on Chubb to move the offense positively. On Sunday, see Chubb get the rock as much as he can handle, leading to a blowout game for Chubb.

Josh Jacobs (RB – GB) at Chicago

Jacobs is the bell cow back that Matt LaFleur always wanted. Jacobs should be the focal point of the Packers’ game plan to take advantage of a poor Bears run defense. The Bears allow an average of 133 rushing yards per game to opposing rushers.

The safe weekly floor Jacobs typically provides will be much higher this week as the Packers attack the Bears on the ground. A triple-digit rushing total and a pair of scores sounds about right.

Wide Receiver

George Pickens (WR – PIT) vs. Baltimore

Since Russell Wilson took over as the Steelers quarterback, we are witnessing the ascension of George Pickens into a WR1. In the three games with Wilson behind center, Pickens has 276 receiving yards on 14 catches and two touchdowns. He has scored 20+ PPR points in two of his last three games.

Pickens looks to continue his hot streak with a juicy matchup this week against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have allowed the most fantasy points, receiving yards (199.2), and touchdowns (1.6) per game to wide receivers this season.

His massive play-making ability will shine in this matchup and provide Pickens with the production to finish as a top-five wideout in Week 11.

Courtland Sutton (WR – DEN) vs. Atlanta

After not recording a stat somehow in Week 7, Courtland Sutton has stepped up across his last three games. Sutton recorded consecutive 100-yard games in Weeks 8 and 9 and then produced a 70-yard game with a score last Sunday. He has developed good chemistry with rookie quarterback Bo Nix and has established himself as the WR1 in the Broncos offense.

Sutton and Nix will face off against the Atlanta Falcons defense, which allows wide receivers the ninth-most fantasy points per game. Last week, the Falcons’ defense made MVS look like an actual NFL wideout when they surrendered 109 yards and two touchdowns. Let’s watch together this weekend when Sutton gives fantasy managers a similar production.

Garrett Wilson (WR – NYJ) vs. Indianapolis

Wilson remains a target hog even with the arrival of Davante Adams, averaging eight targets per game. Wilson leads the league in targets this season with 98 and is fourth in receiving yards with 704. Although the Aaron Rodgers and the Jets offense is struggling, Wilson continues to produce.

Adams has been dealing with some wrist soreness and an illness and has not practiced this week. If Adams cannot play, Wilson will see the ball even more frequently, if possible.

Wilson is set to take on a Colts defense in the bottom ten in allowing fantasy points to wide receivers. A 20-target, 10-catch, 100-yard receiving game is quite possible in this week’s matchup.

Tight End

Dawson Knox (TE – BUF) vs. Kansas City

This selection is based on the premise that Dalton Kincaid (knee) will not play in this huge matchup. Kincaid suffered a knee injury in Week 10 and has not practiced this week. It’s unlikely that Kincaid will suit up this week, and even if he did, he would probably be limited. Enter Dawson Knox. Knox has been used sparingly as an offensive weapon up to this point, but that should change in Week 11.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ defense is tough but vulnerable to the tight end position. The Chiefs allow the second-most (13.1) fantasy points per game to tight ends. Fantasy managers should want a piece of this game, which should be a high-scoring matchup. Knox will smash this week for 50+ receiving yards with at least one visit to paydirt.

Defense

New Orleans Saints D/ST vs. Cleveland

The Saints have a decent fantasy defense, but the matchup against the Cleveland Browns provides ammunition for fantasy managers to stream it in Week 11. The Saints’ defense plays better at home and is the 14th-ranked D/ST in scoring this season. They produced 22 sacks, around league average, but they should add to that number against the Browns offensive line, who can’t protect their quarterback. The Browns have surrendered a league-high 43 sacks, so the Saints should have some fun on Sunday.

The Browns offense scores 16.4 points per game, the fourth-worst in the league. Combine that with Jameis Winston‘s propensity to throw interceptions, and you can see why opposing fantasy defense averages over ten points per game against the Browns offense. A double-digit week for the Saints’ defense looks like a lock.
