Derek Carr (oblique) limited again Thursday
Derek Carr (oblique) was limited at practice again on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Carr looks like he is recovering well and has been able to take part in both of New Orleans’ practices in a limited fashion so far this week. We’ll know what his official Week 9 status is following Friday’s practice, and fantasy managers should keep close tabs on what his injury designation is heading into the weekend.

Puka Nacua (knee) expected to be fine
Puka Nacua (knee) is expected to be fine after tweaking his knee in practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Nacua left Thursday’s practice early after tweaking his knee, but it is reportedly not a serious issue for him. That’s a huge sigh of relief for fantasy managers, who haven’t had him for the majority of the season due to a knee issue. He was limited at practice on Thursday and his official status for Week 9 has yet to be determined at this point.

Tee Higgins (quad) doesn’t practice Thursday
Tee Higgins (quad) did not take part in Cincinnati’s practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Higgins missed Thursday’s practice. He’s still dealing with a mildly serious quad injury, and it looks like it’s going to leave him sidelined for another game in Week 9. That’s bad news for the fantasy value of Joe Burrow, but fantasy managers can expect him to look Ja’Marr Chase‘s way often in a matchup against the Raiders.
