Thursday Night Football had its moments. Saquon Barkley stole the show down the stretch as the Philadelphia Eagles won their sixth straight. Both quarterbacks struggled but the running backs kept the chains moving enough to make the second half entertaining. On the IDP side of things, Jeremy Chinn and Frankie Luvu were the top standouts, but Zack Baun and Nakobe Dean also put up top-12 level numbers. Looking ahead to this weekend, we will take a look at five players fantasy managers should do their best to plug into their lineups and five others who are better left on benches despite promising upside. Let’s dig in.
Fantasy Football IDP Start/Sit Week 11
Start em
Nnamdi Madubuike (DT – BAL)
Madubuike showed up in Week 10, racking up three solos, two assists, three sacks, two tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. The All-Pro has been disappointing this season, as his three sacks in this game topped his entire 2023-24 season total coming into the game. However, he proved last year that he is an elite talent and has remained a must-start DT option because of that. His Week 10 outburst puts him back on the DL3 map, but he is not yet ready for DL2 consideration. Start him with confidence as a DT1/DL3 for a tasty Week 11 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Ugo Amadi (S – NO)
Amadi was excellent in Week 10, racking up nine solos, three tackles for loss, and one pass defended. Ugo got his first start of the season with Marshon Lattimore traded to the Cardinals and could continue to provide dividends at nickel. He should be treated as a CB1/2 or DB3 option going forward. Start him with confidence for Week 11 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
Jordyn Brooks (LB – MIA)
Brooks was excellent in Week 10, racking up six solos, five assists, and one tackle for loss. Brooks has recorded five or more solos in three of his last four and four or more in each. TReat Brooks as an LB2 option as long as he is cooking. Start him with confidence for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jared Verse (DE/LB – LAR)
Verse was excellent in Week 10, tallying three solos, one assist, one sack, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. Verse has recorded a sack in three straight games and is a must-start DL2 as long as he is cooking. Treat him as a top-25 option for a plus Week 11 matchup against the New England Patriots.
Azeez Al-Shaair (LB – HOU)
Azeez was excellent in Week 10, racking up five solos, three assists, two tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. He had been sidelined since Week 7 with a knee injury but is back in the middle and ready to play a pivotal role in the Texans’ stretch run. Tap him as an LB2 option for a plus Week 11 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
Sit em
De’Vondre Campbell (LB – SF)
Campbell has been a monumental IDP disappointment this season but has started to show signs of life in recent weeks. He finished Week 10 with four solos, three assists, one tackle for loss, and one pass defended. He has recorded more than four solos just once all season and should continue to be viewed as a depth piece only. Leave De’Vondre far from starting lineups for a tough on-paper matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Nazeeh Johnson (S/CB – KC)
Nazeeh was excellent in his second start, racking up six solos, four assists, one sack, and one tackle for loss. He should continue to be an IDP asset across from Trent McDuffie, but outside corners will usually be inconsistent. Treat him as a CB3/DB5 at best until he proves he can produce consistently. Look elsewhere for your Week 11 DB3.
Darnell Savage (S/CB – JAC)
Savage showed up in Week 10, racking up three solos, one assist, one tackle for loss, one interception, and one pass defended. This was by far his best fantasy outing of the season and does not change the fact that he is more of a deep league depth piece than someone you want to plug into lineups. Look elsewhere for your Week 11 DB3/4 despite the plus matchup against the Detroit Lions.
Jeremiah Pharms Jr. (DT/DE – NE)
Jeremiah Pharms showed up in Week 10, racking up four solos, one assist, one sack, and three tackles for loss on a season-high 58 percent of the snaps. Pharms has been a bit player for much of the year but should have earned an expanded role with this performance. He belongs on radars for those in deeper leagues but should be far from lineups in Week 11, even as a DT2/3. Look elsewhere for Week 11.
John Paschal (DE – DET)
Paschal showed up in Week 10, racking up four solos, one assist, one sack, and one tackle for loss. This was just Paschal’s second sack of the season, so IDP managers would do best not to chase this production, especially with Za’Darius Smith set to join the rotation as soon as this weekend. He is worth a stash in deeper leagues in case he starts to heat up but should be left on benches for Week 11, despite a plus matchup against Mac Jones and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
