Dynasty Trade Advice: Cedric Tillman, Quentin Johnston, Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Week 11)

This week I will highlight three wide receivers with differing trajectories: Cedric Tillman, who is on the rise and offers a high upside despite his increasing cost; Quentin Johnston, who could be a sell-high candidate after a couple of decent performances; and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, a player to hold onto as his potential continues to grow. Let’s break down these players and explore why now is the right time to make a move, whether you’re looking to buy, sell or hold.

Dynasty Trade Advice: Week 11

Buy: Cedric Tillman (WR – CLE)

You may have to “buy high” at this point but Cedric Tillman looks to be worth it for the rest of this season, at the very least. Since Week 7, he has played over 82% of snaps, seen at least nine targets and scored no fewer than 18 PPR points. He appears to be a locked-and-loaded WR2 weekly with WR1 upside.

Per KeepTradeCut, he is currently valued as the WR46. Other wide receivers in that range are Khalil Shakir, Davante Adams, Romeo Doubs, Amari Cooper, Quentin Johnston and Rashid Shaheed. If I’m pushing for the playoffs I’d much rather have Tillman in my lineup over the above names for more consistent production and upside.

Using one of my favorite tools, the Dynasty-Daddy trade database, Tillman has been involved in these trades over the past two days in 12-team Superflex leagues that I would be ideal to complete.:

  • Rashid Shaheed and a 2025 third-round pick
  • 2025 second-round pick
  • 2026 second-round pick
  • Calvin Ridley for Tillman and a 2026 second-round pick
  • 2025 second-round pick and 2027 second-round pick

Sell: Quentin Johnston (WR – LAC)

Now may be the best time to unload Quentin Johnston after back-to-back double-digit PPR weeks. In weeks where he has a touchdown, he has 10+ points. In weeks where he doesn’t have a touchdown, he has scored no more than 6.8 points. Sell him now off a WR2 week and get whatever you can for him before he slides back into a roster clogger.

Using the Dynasty-Daddy trade database, Johnston has been involved in these trades over the past two days in 12-team Superflex leagues:

  • 2025 second-round pick and 2026 third-round pick
  • Rashid Shaheed
  • Jameson Williams

I’m looking to get draft picks in return for Johnston, targeting a mid-late second or early third. You could also attempt to pair him with a draft pick to tier up to an older receiver like Terry McLaurin.

Hold: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR – SEA)

It is tempting to capitalize on Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s 180-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 9 and attempt to get peak value for him. Unless you can trade him for a profit compared to what you have invested, I’d rather hold and get all the points out of him I can.
