Games of the Week
No. 2 Georgia (-2.5) @ No. 16 Ole Miss | Total: 54.5 | Saturday, 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC
This game has big-time SEC and potential playoff implications that could be determined by quarterback play. Carson Beck and Jaxson Dart have both had up-and-down seasons. Dart has managed to maintain solid play for the most part while Beck has struggled heavily, even in wins. The main storyline to keep an eye on throughout the week will be the status of Ole Miss star wide receiver and potential first-round pick Tre Harris. Harris has not played since October 12th against LSU, where he had over 100 yards and one touchdown. If he does play, that gives a huge boost to the Ole Miss offense.
Ole Miss is one of the elite scoring offenses and defenses in the nation. They average close to 400 passing yards per game and will see a Georgia defense that only allows 187.1 passing yards per game, something has to give in this matchup. With or without Tre Harris, I believe Ole Miss has enough firepower on offense to outscore the Bulldogs if their landshark defense can play up to the standard they’ve set this season. Georgia can win this game if Beck manages the game without turning the ball over to the explosive Rebel offense.

My Picks:
No. 11 Alabama (-2.5) @ No. 14 LSU | Total: 58.5 | Saturday, 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC
The Alabama-LSU rivalry is one of the best in college football and always seems to have something on the line, this year is no different. This game might as well be an SEC and playoff elimination game. The loser will be left with two losses, minimal chance of making it to the SEC title game and likely left out of the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the winner keeps both hopes alive and potentially moves back into the top 10. We get a great matchup of 2025-eligible quarterbacks with Jalen Milroe vs. Garrett Nussmeier. Both players have played like Heisman Trophy candidates in some games and have multiple turnovers in other games leading to losses or closer-than-expected games.
A night game in Death Valley is always one of the best and toughest atmospheres in college football. I lean toward Alabama in this one as they are a better team all-around compared to LSU and can establish the run to control the time of possession and line of scrimmage. LSU has struggled consistently to run the ball all season. Alabama’s defense should be able to get enough stops for their offense to outscore LSU.

- 42nd in passing yards: 254.1 yards per game
- 47th in rushing yards: 177.6 yards per game
- 16th in yards per play: 6.6 yards per play
- Defense
- 19th in scoring: 18.6 points per game
- 35th in passing yards allowed: 193.2 yards per game
- 64th in rushing yards allowed: 144.5 yards per game
- 12th in yards per play allowed: 4.5 yards per play
LSU offensive and defensive ranks (via Outlier.Bet)
- Offense
- 34th in scoring: 32.8 points per game
- 6th in passing yards: 332.8 yards per game
- 111th in rushing yards: 115.2 yards per game
- 22nd in yards per play: 6.4 yards per play
- Defense
- 54th in scoring: 22.8 points per game
- 86th in passing yards allowed: 229.9 yards per game

My Picks:
Devy Spotlight
Kaleb Johnson (RB – Iowa) | 2025
Kaleb Johnson has great size at 6-foot-0, 225 pounds. He has proven he can handle a massive workload. His lowest output this season has been 86 yards and one touchdown against Ohio State. In seven out of nine games, he has found the end zone multiple times.
We have seen many breakaway runs showing his long speed. He has also caught 19 passes. This running back class is loaded but Johnson should be receiving more hype as the season winds down. I currently have him ranked as my RB6 in this class. I’m expecting another big game from him this Saturday against UCLA.
Kaleb Johnson, once again, went ???????????????????? ???????????????? Saturday ????

Heisman Trophy Race
The top five Heisman favorites after Week 10:
- Cameron Ward (QB – Miami) | +185
- Travis Hunter (WR/CB – Colorado) | +220
- Dillon Gabriel (QB – Oregon) | +280
- Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State) | +500
- Kurtis Rourke (QB – Indiana) | +2000
The top four remain the same names that have been the favorites for the Heisman for the last couple of weeks but now Cameron Ward takes over as the front-runner with Ashton Jeanty slipping as the season winds down. The newcomer may come as a surprise to many with Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke making his first appearance in the top five.
To this point, Rourke has led Indiana to an undefeated record with legit Big Ten and playoff hopes but they are on a collision course with Ohio State in Week 13 in Columbus. The race is wide open with Ward, Travis Hunter, Dillon Gabriel and Jeanty appearing to have all but locked up invitations to the ceremony in New York on December 14th.
