The Big Ten is set for a massive showdown this Saturday as No.5-ranked Indiana travels to Columbus to face No. 2-ranked Ohio State in a game that will likely determine who advances to the conference title game.
The stakes could not be higher with both teams eyeing a potential College Football Playoff (CFP) berth. I also dive into stud tight end Harold Fannin Jr. and a look at the updated Heisman Trophy odds.

The winner of this game will likely go on to the Big Ten title game while the loser will have to sweat out if they will receive an at-large bid to the CFP. The stakes don’t get any higher than this Saturday in Columbus. On paper, Indiana has been an elite team this season but they have played the 106th-weakest schedule, per ESPN’s college football power index.
To their credit, they have beaten every team in front of them by at least 14 points except for Michigan. Michigan was down multiple starters in the secondary and still caused Kurtis Rourke and the offense fits all game. Ohio State is worlds better than any team Indiana has stepped on the field with.
Since losing to Oregon by one point, Ohio State has encountered two one-possession games and two games they cruised to victory. Their defense has only allowed 37 points in these four games.
Indiana has a top 20 defense in most statistical categories but I’m throwing that out the window against the elite talent Ohio State has in Quinshon Judkins, TreVeyon Henderson, Jeremiah Smith and Emeka Egbuka.
Indiana’s season has been fun to witness but it’s time for a real test, and I have the Buckeyes passing with flying colors.

Harold Fannin Jr. (TE – Bowling Green) | 2025
Harold Fannin Jr. is a versatile tight end that can line up all over the field and match up with any defender. Although he does play in the MAC, his numbers and play on the field trump the age-old “he doesn’t play in a big conference” argument. This guy is a stud and has a bright future in the NFL. He dominated against Penn State (11 receptions for 137 yards and one touchdown) and Texas A&M (eight receptions for 145 yards and one touchdown) early in the season.
With two games remaining, he has 1,170 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. He has produced six 100+ yard games, four 10+ reception games and one multi-touchdown game. If you have not seen him play yet, now is the time to tune into a Bowling Green game. Fannin firmly sits as my TE1 in the 2025 NFL Draft class.

At this point, with Colorado on track to play in the Big 12 title game and Travis Hunter putting up solid performances on both sides of the ball, the Heisman Trophy looks to be his to lose. Ashton Jeanty put up another huge game with 159 rushing yards and a trio of touchdowns.
Dillon Gabriel played his worst game of the season as Oregon escaped Camp Randall Stadium with a victory. Gabriel had his second-lowest output for passing yards and zero touchdowns. Cameron Ward and Kurtis Rourke both had a bye week.
