Sleeper Picks NFL Week 7

2024 Season record: 12-6

Derrick Henry (RB – BAL): 74.5 rushing yards (alt line)

King Henry continues to impress with the Baltimore Ravens. When Hall of Fame running back meets Hall of Fame quarterback combined with an offensive coordinator actually willing to modify his scheme to maximize the strengths of his players, you get something special. War Horse Henry has galloped for 84 or more rushing yards in each of his last five games, topping 132 rushing in three of them. In fact, he has averaged 131.6 rushing yards over those five contests. Henry will have his work cut out for him on inside runs this week due to the presence of Vita Vea, but should easily top 75 rushing yards in a game the Ravens are favored in despite being on the road against a fellow 4-2 team. Tampa Bay has relinquished 79.3 rushing yards per game to the running back position, including back-to-back 84 pieces to Jahmyr Gibbs and Saquon Barkley. Dap the More on Derrick for Week 7.

Pick: More

Malik Nabers (WR – NYG): 74.5 receiving yards

Malik Nabers has exited the league’s concussion protocol and is set to play this weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles. I thought about an alt line here since it’s his first game back, but surprisingly, the first alt is 49.5 at 1.14x. I did want to lower the number in exchange for a decreased multiplier, but a 25 yard drop is not needed. Nabers did not suffer a lower body injury that will limit his explosiveness and should continue to be peppered with targets by a QB who makes a target hog out of his rookie receiver. Yes, the Eagles will be focusing on stopping Nabers, but the reason the LSU product had some who thought he was the top receiver in the draft was due to his scheme versatility. Nabers can win and thrive on all four levels of the field. Mash the More on Malik for Week 7.

Pick: More

Joe Mixon (RB – HOU): 49.5 rushing yards (alt line)

Mixon returned with a bang in Week 6, racking up 102 rushing yards in his return from a three game absence. Mixon has registered 102 or more rushing yards in both of his complete games this season. The Texans have a much tougher opponent than they did in Mixon’s two 100 yard games, so we will play it safe and use an alt line for Week 7. The drop from 64.5 to 49.5 vastly improves the probability and, as such, is worth the multiplier decrease. Green Bay has surrendered 89.2 rushing yards per game to the running back position this season, including three 100 yard games and four of 93+. Mash the More on Mixon for Week 7 at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
