Week 7 of the NFL is upon us, and it’s time to stack those lineups and break the DFS slate wide open! You know what they say: fortune favours the bold. And in daily fantasy, bold means pairing the right QB-WR or QB-TE combos that can light up the scoreboard like it’s New Year’s Eve.

This week, we’re diving deep into the matchups to find the hidden gems, the powerhouse pairings, and the sneaky stacks that could help you rise up the leaderboard and tackle a tournament this weekend.

NFL DFS Stacking Advice & Picks: Week 7

Whether you’re looking to ride the wave of a high-powered offense or take a calculated risk on a lesser-known duo, we’ve got the insights to give you the edge.

It’s not just about picking the big names. Sometimes, it’s about seeing the magic in the mid-tier guys or the breakout potential in that one player who’s been quietly putting up points. You can even approach the “squeaky wheel” narrative and find yourself a player due for a big breakout. Week 7 has some juicy matchups, and if you play your cards right and follow the advice in this article, you can break the slate in Week 7.

Let’s grab your virtual playbook, sharpen your lineup-building skills, and have fun breaking down the best stacks for this weekend’s action.

Jayden Daniels + Terry McLaurin (QB+WR – WAS)

What can you say about Jayden Daniels that hasn’t been said already this season? He has been incredible. This start to his season is why he is the highest-paid quarterback on DraftKings this week. Daniels’s lowest finish this year was QB18; he has finished in the top three in three weeks this season. He has two games with two touchdowns in his last four, and we also get to tack on the fact that he is a Konami Code quarterback whose mobility can torture defenses and instantly add fantasy points to our lineup.

Even with all those flowers, somehow, we can add more as he faces the Carolina Panthers defense this week. The Commanders are already slated to have the highest implied total of points and face a defense that allows the tenth-most passing yards on the season. Daniels should dominate once again in this juicy matchup.

If Daniels has a great game, his favourite wide receiver, Terry McLaurin, will join him in fantasy prosperity. McLaurin is Daniels first option in the redzone and has seen a healthy amount of targets since week two. Since Week Two, McLaurin has had eight or more targets in three of five games. He also scored four touchdowns in that span.

McLaurin now faces a defense that has allowed the third-most touchdowns this season, and the Daniels/Mclaurin connection should thrive.

GPP Stack/ Add-on from this game

If you want to buck the trend and dive into this game, you can flip the switch to Andy Dalton + Xavier Legette with an add-on of Zach Ertz and Noah Brown.

Andy Dalton faces a defense that has given their wide receiver the second-most touchdowns on the season. Legette has shown some rise in his talent and understanding of the game in the last few weeks. The Commanders’ defense is weak against the passing game, and with the higher implied totals and two bad defenses, we could see a ton of points put up in this game while we build leverage with Dalton.

We don’t want to forget to use the Commanders’ side to add in the less-used Ertz, who has seen his targets rise, and Noah Brown, who received eight targets last week and is planting his flag as the second wide receiver for Daniels. His price point will also help with salary and roster construction to fit superstars elsewhere.

Tony Pollard + Titans Defense (RB + D/ST – TEN)

A bellcow running back is a beautiful thing for your DFS lineup. Pollard has seen 17 or more carries in every game this season (excluding the game he was hurt). He has also seen three or more targets in every game but one this season. With Tyjae Spears out this week and the Titans organization wanting to limit Will Levis‘ turnover issues, Pollard will be utilized constantly in a game against a run funnel defense from Buffalo. The Bills have allowed the ninth most rushing yards this season, and the combination of opportunities plus the weak run defense is too beautiful to avoid.

As for the Titans’ defense, we aim for salary relief this week to fit superstars like Justin Jefferson, Kyren Williams, and Brock Bowers in our lineups. Although the Titans’ defense is nothing special to write home about, it is formidable. They have created six or more tackles for loss in every game this season and two sacks or more in every game but one this season. They also have a lockdown corner. L’Jarius Snead can handle the new addition of Amari Cooper.

Facing the Buffalo Bills is scary, but remember sacks + pressures = turnovers. For the cheapest defense on the slate, we could see some benefits of salary savings and become pleasantly surprised as long as Levis doesn’t turn the ball over and force his defense out on the field too much.

David Montgomery + Justin Jefferson (RB – DET / WR – MIN)

If you use the Titans’ defense and Noah Brown from earlier, they can save us enough salary to build a stack from another game, such as David Montgomery + Justin Jefferson.

Montgomery has scored in eight straight regular-season games going back to last season. He also scored in 89% of Lions games when he didn’t leave due to injury. Meanwhile, Justin Jefferson has owned the Lions’ defense, averaging over 100 yards a game against this defense. If you want to add a little extra razzle dazzle, throw in Sam Darnold to build leverage against the field, as Lion’s pass rush is now questionable without Aidan Hutchinson.
