Jordan Mason Injury: Will He Play Week 7? (2024 Fantasy Football)

Another weekend of NFL football has arrived! Unfortunately, the injury watch for fantasy football managers is also here, and that’s certainly the case for Jordan Mason. Don’t fret, though – FantasyPros is here to provide you with all of the latest news and updates on the players who are questionable heading into this week. So, is Jordan Mason playing in Week 7? Here’s what we know about Jordan Mason‘s injury and his status for Week 7. And use our Are They Playing tool to see the probability of any injured player playing this week, including Jordan Mason.

Fantasy Football Outlook: Will Jordan Mason Play Week 7?

Jordan Mason (shoulder) off the injury report, will play
San Francisco 49ers RB Jordan Mason is expected to play in Week 7 despite dealing with a shoulder injury that kept him out of most of the second half of Week 6.

Fantasy Impact

Mason went limited-limited-full in practice this week, dealing with a shoulder injury he suffered late in the first half of Week 6’s win. The Niners’ RB attempted to return but sat out the second half after his one-play return. With the benefit of extra rest due to his injury coming on Thursday night, Mason should return to action and re-assume the lead role. It’s possible Isaac Guerendo earned extra carries with his game-sealing 76-yard dash, but Mason is second in the league in rushing yards (609) and 20+ yard runs as well as third in first downs, meaning he has earned the majority of the work.

Fantasy Impact

Mason is dealing with a shoulder injury and was a limited participant in Monday’s practice. It’s reportedly a minor issue for the young running back, and it presumably won’t have much of an effect on his Week 7 availability. If he’s active and playing without restrictions, fantasy managers should have no hesitations starting him in what should be a competitive game against the Chiefs.

Mason was considered day-to-day after leaving the 49ers game early last Thursday against the Seahawks. His status will be worth monitoring throughout the week.
