Mixon will miss yet another game on Sunday. He’s still dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered earlier in the season, and he wasn’t able to practice all week because of it. It remains unclear if he will miss more time beyond this game, but either way, Cam Akers is set to see significantly more work in Week 5 in his absence.

Fantasy Impact

Mixon is still working on recovering from an ankle injury that he suffered early on in the season and was a non-participant at practice on Wednesday. The team could try to ease him back in as the week goes on, but this isn’t a great sign for his Week 5 availability. Fantasy managers should be preparing for the very real possibility that he doesn’t play against the Bills this week.
