Fantasy Football Trade Advice

Tank Dell (WR – HOU)

“My favorite buy-low trade candidate is Tank Dell. Although he has only had one finish at WR30 or better, with Nico Collins on IR, he will need to be involved until Collins returns. He was targeted a few times in the red zone against the Green Bay Packers last week and just couldn’t get on the same page with C.J. Stroud. Once those two get back on the same page, he’ll be a great talent to have down the stretch. I’d be willing to give up a fringe flex player or two bench pieces as his stock is currently on the floor.”

David Montgomery (RB – DET)

“My favorite buy-low candidate is Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery. Monty ranks as RB13 on the year in 1/2 PPR scoring but is massively undervalued due to his perceived role as the backup to superstar Jahmyr Gibbs. In reality, they are closer to a committee, with Gibbs ranking as RB7 on the year. Montgomery comes at a significant discount when compared to his backfield mate and, in most weeks, will put up a comparable stat line. He is a great value and is a player I would love to acquire for James ConnerAaron JonesTony Pollard, or D’Andre Swift.”

George Pickens (WR – PIT)

George Pickens’s price tag isn’t exactly at bargain basement lows, but it sure seemed like Russ was cooking up some plays with him last week. They showed good chemistry, and I think that could continue. I would trade Tee HigginsDeVonta SmithZay Flowers, or Jayden Reed for him. I guess you could say Ringo doesn’t think the Pickens are slim for George’s rest-of-season fantasy prospects. I’ll see myself out now, haha!”
– Mark Ringo (Sleepers and Busts)

George Pickens teased some better chemistry with Russell Wilson than he seemed to have with Justin Fields in the first six weeks. But I believe the veteran receiver remains undervalued. Pickens scored his first touchdown of the season on Sunday. But he is one of just four wide receivers with 10 or more targets thrown within 5 yards of the end zone this year, and his 2.91 expected touchdown shortfall is the biggest at his position. He could rally for six or more touchdowns over the final 11 weeks.”
