Jaylen Warren (knee) non-participant Wednesday
Jaylen Warren (knee) was a non-participant at Pittsburgh’s practice on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Warren missed Wednesday’s practice due to the same knee injury that forced him to miss Week 4. There is reportedly a chance that he will be able to suit up in Week 5, but his lack of participation at Wednesday’s practice casts a little bit of doubt on that. If he’s out another week, that will lead to more work for Najee Harris and Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) against the Cowboys.

Christian Watson (ankle) doesn’t practice Wednesday
Christian Watson (ankle) did not participate at practice on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

As expected, Watson was sidelined from Wednesday’s practice due to an ankle injury. It’s a mildly serious issue, and it looks unlikely that he will be healthy enough to suit up in Week 5. Fantasy managers should continue to pay attention to updates about his health in the coming days and weeks.

T.J. Hockenson to practice Friday, could return by Week 7
Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson will have his 21-day window opened this week and is expected to practice on Friday. He could potentially return as early as Oct. 20.

Fantasy Impact

Hockenson has been out due to a torn ACL and MCL he suffered in Week 16 of 2023 on Dec. 24; Minnesota has a bye in Week 6, setting the stage for him to potentially return to practice before Week 5, rest in Week 6, and return in Week 7. They play the Detroit Lions, Hockenson’s former team, out of the bye, and with the Vikings firing on all cylinders offensively, the former first-round TE could benefit if he is healthy and moving well following his multi-ligament injury.
