James Conner dealing with ankle injury after loss
Arizona Cardinals RB James Conner‘s day ended early after getting his ankles taped and fumbling the ball early in the third quarter. He gained 46 yards from scrimmage on 11 touches.
Fantasy Impact
Conner had a day to forget, though his practice status should be monitored all week after he got his ankles taped up. Following Conner’s fumble, his first lost fumble since Nov. 2022, he ceded his work to RBs Trey Benson and Amari Demercado. Head coach Jonathan Gannon said it was a game script-dependent choice and not injury-related, but we’ll have to see how Conner practices this week.

Dontayvion Wicks ‘week-to-week’ with shoulder injury
Dontayvion Wicks has been labeled week-to-week with a shoulder injury. He suffered the injury against the Cardinals on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
While it’s not the best news, at least Wicks has seemingly avoided IR, but he will likely miss time. If nothing else being labeled week to week does give him the chance to play sooner rather than later. In his absence, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, and Romeo Doubs are stronger plays.

Tua Tagovailoa not playing Week 7, aims for 2024 return
Tua Tagovailoa is not expected to play Week 7 according to HC Mike McDaniel. However, he is still expecting a 2024 return.
Fantasy Impact
Jeremy Fowler continued that Tua is still seeking out information about his situation. The Dolphins offense hasn’t been explosive without him at the helm and desperately needs him to return. It’s a tough go for fantasy managers with Dolphins on their roster, but it’s best just to hold whatever Dolphin you have and hope Tua returns sooner than later.
