Fantasy Football Injury Updates

George Kittle (foot) returns to practice Thursday
George Kittle (foot) returned to San Francisco’s practice on Thursday and was a limited participant.

Fantasy Impact

Kittle was able to log a limited practice on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday. That bodes well for his Week 8 availability, but we won’t know his official status for sure until later in the week. If he’s active, he will be a must-start fantasy option in a matchup against the Cowboys.

Ladd McConkey (hip) doesn’t practice Thursday
Ladd McConkey (hip) did not participate in practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

The rookie didn’t practice for a second-straight day on Thursday. He’s managing a hip injury right now, and it looks like it could threaten his availability for Week 8. Joshua Palmer would be primed for more work if McConkey is unable to play this week.

Chris Olave (concussion) logs full practice Thursday
Chris Olave (concussion) logged a full practice session on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

A concussion left Olave sidelined last week, but it looks like he’s going to be available to play in Week 8. He logged a full practice session on Thursday, so it seems very likely that he will be cleared to play before Sunday. Fantasy managers shouldn’t set expectations too high for him with Spencer Rattler at the helm for New Orleans, however.
