Fantasy Football Injury Updates: Week 5

Check out the latest NFL injury news and notes around fantasy football Week 5.

George Kittle (ribs) listed questionable for Week 5
George Kittle has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact

Kittle and Fred Warner are both listed as questionable after opening the week missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Their status will be worth monitoring heading into kickoff on Sunday.

DK Metcalf (hand) off injury report for Sunday
DK Metcalf (hand) is off of the injury report for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.

Fantasy Impact

Metcalf was added to the injury report and was limited at Thursday’s practice because of a hand injury, but it’s just a minor issue and he will be able to play through it on Sunday. Fantasy managers should have no reservations starting him against the Giants, especially considering how good he has been lately.

Christian Watson (ankle) unlikely to play Sunday
Christian Watson (ankle) is unlikely to play in Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Impact

Watson is officially listed as doubtful to play in Sunday’s game thanks to a high-ankle sprain that he suffered last week. The team is taking his recovery week-to-week for the time being, and fantasy managers should expect Dontayvion Wicks to see a large workload against the Rams with Green Bay likely missing multiple key pass catchers.
