DK Metcalf (knee) ‘optimistic’ to return in Week 9
Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said it’s “looking optimistic” that DK Metcalf will return for Week 9 against the Rams.
Fantasy Impact
Metcalf was listed as doubtful ahead of this past week before was ruled out. The Seahawks offense needs him back on the field to flow like they did in the win over the Falcons two weeks ago. His status will be worth monitoring at practice throughout the week.

Jauan Jennings (hip) hopeful to return after 49ers bye week
49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said he’s expecting to get Jauan Jennings back after the bye week.
Fantasy Impact
Jennings will be in the WR3 conversation when he is healthy for fantasy managers. He’ll be battling for targets with Ricky Pearsall behind Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey if he returns on the 49ers offense.

Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) to have practice window opened next week
49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said the team plans to open Christian McCaffrey‘s 21-day return window next week.

McCaffrey is expected to run through simulated practices over the bye for the 49ers next week. He continues to target a return in Week 10.
