DK Metcalf (knee) listed doubtful Sunday
DK Metcalf has been listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Bills.

Fantasy Impact

It comes as no surprise that Metcalf will likely be sidelined after being labeled week-to-week last Sunday. Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba should take on bigger roles in the passing game.

Fantasy Impact

As expected, Metcalf was not able to participate in Thursday’s practice. The team is planning to evaluate his health on Friday, but it’s looking like a long shot for him to play this week. Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be primed for a big workload if the star wideout is sidelined for Seattle.

Fantasy Impact

The star wideout suffered a knee injury in last week’s game and is set to be sidelined at practice on Wednesday and Thursday because of it. They’re planning on assessing his health on Friday, but he looks like a long-shot to play in Week 8. Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be primed for a large workload if Metcalf if unavailable to play on Sunday.

DK Metcalf finds the end zone in Week 7
DK Metcalf caught four of his seven targets for 99 yards and a touchdown in a 34-14 win over the Falcons in Week 7.

Fantasy Impact

Metcalf got off to a hot start as he did all of his damage in the first half. He did provide a scare for Seahawks fans as he banged up his knee during the second half and had to be carted to the locker room. It appears that he avoided serious injury, however, as head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters after the game that Metcalf’s knee injury was not very bad. He might miss some practice time this week ahead of a Week 8 matchup against the Bills but, for now, it doesn’t appear he’s in danger of missing that game.
