“Dalton Kincaid is my favorite buy-low tight end trade target, with everyone focused on Amari Cooper‘s Bills debut. The second-year tight end has had at least six targets in four consecutive games. While he has averaged only 6.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game over the past month, Kincaid ranks third in target per route run rate (29%) and fourth in first-read target share (24.7%) among tight ends with at least 20 targets (per Fantasy Points Data). He has several upcoming fantasy-friendly matchups, starting in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks, who give up the eighth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends (10.4). Buffalo’s offense should start to click with Cooper in town. I would happily flip Evan Engram for Kincaid.”

“Deebo Samuel goose-egged last week and then was hospitalized with pneumonia. We’ll see if that costs him further games, but he’ll be back relatively soon. On snaps with Aiyuk off the field since the start of the 2022 season, Samuel has drawn a target on a whopping 37% of his routes. That’s alpha stuff. “Puka Nacua is about to be the only show in town. Cooper Kupp is a trade candidate, and news from Nacua is coming back right around the corner. “My favorite buy-low candidate is Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery. Monty ranks as RB13 on the year in 1/2 PPR scoring but is massively undervalued due to his perceived role as the backup to superstar Jahmyr Gibbs. In reality, they are closer to a committee, with Gibbs ranking as RB7 on the year. Montgomery comes at a significant discount when compared to his backfield mate and, in most weeks, will put up a comparable stat line. He is a great value and is a player I would love to acquire for James Conner, Aaron Jones, Tony Pollard, or D’Andre Swift.”

George Pickens (WR – PIT)

“George Pickens’s price tag isn’t exactly at bargain basement lows, but it sure seemed like Russ was cooking up some plays with him last week. They showed good chemistry, and I think that could continue. I would trade Tee Higgins, DeVonta Smith, Zay Flowers, or Jayden Reed for him. I guess you could say Ringo doesn’t think the Pickens are slim for George’s rest-of-season fantasy prospects. I’ll see myself out now, haha!”

Waddle should instantly resume fantasy WR2 status because he has suffered the most. Under Mike McDaniel, when Waddle has played without Tagovailoa, he averages 3.75 receptions and 46 yards per game with zero touchdowns. With Tagovailoa, it jumps up to 4.8 receptions and 78 ypg with seven TDs in 29 games. This is the last chance to buy Waddle from someone who is skeptical and has had to keep him benched in exchange for Tank Dell, Diontae Johnson, or even Marvin Harrison Jr.”

We know he’s the short yardage and volume back, so with a highly-functioning passing game due to return to form, I’m betting on Mostert to do the same. He’s scored 0 touchdowns in 3 games compared to 21 last season. He’s far too cheap right now, so I’d offer Devon Singletary or Darnell Mooney or even Tucker Kraft to get it done for the upside shot on Mostert with a very friendly schedule down the stretch.”

“Raheem Mostert is a buy for me heading into the second half of the season. He got banged up in week one & that made him miss the next 3 weeks. Since then, he has had 30 carries for 130 yards. Plus, they like to use him as a goal-line back. The Dolphins schedule is fairly easy the rest of the way for opposing running backs. Mostert could very well be a league winner yet again. If you’re competing, I would give up Tony Pollard for him or even Chase Brown. In dynasty, a projected late 2nd round pick should do the trick.”

I’m willing to give him Baker Mayfield or Geno Smith. Mayfield’s receiving corps is fully depleted. Smith has underperformed to date.”

However, he faced an awful New England Patriots run defense. Furthermore, the second-year pro didn’t have a breakaway run for the second consecutive week (per Fantasy Points Data). More importantly, Etienne almost played on Sunday and could return this week. Bigsby has had zero impact in the receiving game, totaling one reception this year. With the Jaguars facing multiple elite run defenses over the next several weeks as likely underdogs, now is the time to sell high on the former Auburn star. I wouldn’t think twice about trading away Bigsby for Chase Brown.”

“Rachaad White just had an amazing game. His hot, stinky garbage time points just won some people their weeks. There is an extremely high chance that this was his best game of the season. Any time a player has the best game of the year, it’s a good time to sell. Especially when it is an island game, and everyone’s eyes were on it. He’s an inefficient runner who has a history of soft-tissue injuries. Try to use White as a piece to package up and get someone like Puka Nacua, CMC, or Isiah Pacheco.”

“My favorite sell-high candidate is Brian Thomas Jr. I understand he has been incredible three of the last four weeks, but Thomas averages just over four receptions per game. I think you could try to get a low-end RB1 or high-end RB2 from someone who desperately needs help at receiver.”

“My sell-high for this week is Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney. Mooney ranks as WR17 on the year and has been a surprisingly consistent WR2 for fantasy managers. His usefulness during a barrage of league-wide injuries has saved managers and has him highly overvalued. He cracked the 15-point mark in fantasy in two of his first three games but has reached 15 points only once in his past four games. His value is being buoyed by a massive game in Week 5 that saw him put up 32 fantasy points. Outside of that game, he has been mostly a flex-worthy play the past month and should be traded away for the likes of Tank Dell, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, or George Pickens. Sell-high before he turns back into a pumpkin.”

Malik Nabers (WR – NYG)

“Left tackle Andrew Thomas is out for the year, and the Giants’ line wasn’t exactly an immovable object to begin with. In the first week without Thomas, the Giants’ offense & Malik Nabers struggled mightily (the Giants scored 3 points while Nabers had four receptions for 41 yards). I don’t expect things to get much better. I’d try to trade Nabers and hope his name value can land me Jamarr Chase, A.J. Brown, Davante Adams, Marvin Harrison Jr., or a package that includes George Pickens. How does that saying go? Good fences make good “Nabors”. Great fences make Nabors great. Ringo’s bad jokes make Nabors’ drafters nauseous, haha!”

“Caleb Williams had made a massive-seeming progression from 630 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions in his first three starts to 687 yards, seven touchdowns, and one interception in his last three starts. But he likely owes a significant piece of that improvement to his schedule. Williams has faced the Rams, Panthers, and Jaguars in his last three starts, and all three of those teams rank bottom five in defensive DVOA. The Commanders are another bottom 10 defensive team in Week 8, but broadly speaking, Williams will jump from the easiest opponent schedule to the hardest opponent schedule over the rest of the season.”

Chuba Hubbard (RB – CAR)

“As great as Chuba Hubbard has been this year, averaging 5.2 yards per carry, I’m starting to get nervous. Rookie Jonathon Brooks is almost ready to see the field for the first time, which will surely eat into Hubbard’s workload to some extent. Andy Dalton went from a revelation to looking more like a 36-year-old backup QB. That means we could go back to Bryce Young as a starter, which would quickly revert the Panthers to the worst offense in the league again. Hubbard will still have value, but his best games might be behind his. I’d be glad to move him for a buy-low candidate like James Cook or De’Von Achane.”

After his Wednesday morning trade to the Chiefs, who are in need of WR help, there is no question about it: fantasy managers can sell Hopkins on hype. Any WR that is with Patrick Mahomes will immediately garner attention; just look at the hysteria that surrounded JuJu Smith-Schuster after one game. It isn’t like Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs’ offense are lighting the world on fire either, with Mahomes entering Week 8 as the QB22, averaging 15 points a contest. If managers can use Hopkins plus more to further upgrade at WR and acquire Jauan Jennings, Amari Cooper, or, on the very high-end, Garrett Wilson, that should be a no-brainer. ”
