Ladd McConkey (WR – LAC)
“Ladd McConkey is a good buy-low. This past week, he turned eight targets into four catches for 43 yards. What I liked is that he had two targets inside the 10-yard line. He has a 27% target share on the season, which is in the top 12. He’s the reliable target in the slot for Justin Herbert, and his production should continue to increase moving forward. I’d trade a player like Allen Lazard, Mark Andrews, or Rachaad White to acquire McConkey.”

“Ladd McConkey has been outstanding, posting the fifth-highest yards per route run average (3.62) among 98 wide receivers with at least 25 routes against man coverage this season (per Fantasy Points Data). Yet, he is only the WR50 for the year, averaging 8.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game because of the Charger run-heavy offense. However, Justin Herbert is getting healthy and has set a season-high in pass attempts in back-to-back games, including 34 in a blowout win over the Denver Broncos. He had twice as many targets as any other wide receiver, earning a 23.5% target share and 23% target per route run rate. “Miraculously, the gods have bestowed upon us another Garrett Wilson buy-low window with the news that Davante Adams is headed to New York. In a moderate 20-point output in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills defense, Wilson went off with an 8 for 107 and 1 line. However, Allen Lazard also had similar production, going 6 for 114 and 1, while Breece Hall also racked up the yardage. There is room in this offense for multiple pass catchers to eat while Breece gets his. And now the schedule looks to be one of the easiest of any team’s down the stretch. I’ll send away a back like JK Dobbins or Darnell Mooney – or package both together – to see if anyone is worried about Adams cutting into his workload.”

“Might be a bit late now after two solid weeks but we are looking to trade for Garrett Wilson. But with Davante Adams coming to New York, you might still be able to snag Wilson at a nice discount. Tagovailoa should be available on the waiver wire or an easy trade candidate to trade for.”

“Someone that I would buy low on right now is Titans receiver Calvin Ridley. Ridley leads the team in targets but has only topped 10 FPPG once this season. “After his debut last week for New England, Drake Maye seemingly found an immediate connection with DeMario Douglas. Next up is Jacksonville in London, a matchup that Douglas could feast on, given Jacksonville’s own struggles this year. Douglas is nothing more than a flier but a very interesting one, meaning his cost should not be bank-breaking.”

“Mark Andrews is a great sell-high right now. His production has increased; however, his targets have not. This past Sunday, he had three catches on four targets (16% target share) for 66 yards and a touchdown. Baltimore is committed to the run, so they’re not feeding Andrews like years past. With so many fantasy owners desperate for tight-end production, this is the perfect time to sell. I’d be offering Andrews for players like Ladd McConkey, Josh Downs, or Deebo Samuel.”

Najee Harris (RB – PIT)
“Najee Harris is the easy sell here. He looked the best he’d looked all season, but playing a beaten-down and beat-up Raiders D will do that for most teams. I’m not sold that Harris can put up these stat lines most weeks. Especially after looking explosive last week, I’m seeking top dollar now and pivoting off of Harris for a back-end RB1 like David Montgomery or James Conner or the player I mentioned in my buy-low, Garrett Wilson.”

“Keenan Allen scored a season-high 18.6 half-point PPR fantasy points in Week 6. By comparison, the veteran had 13.1 fantasy points for the year entering last week’s matchup against an awful Jacksonville Jaguars pass defense. More importantly, his fantasy performance was saved by two receiving touchdowns. Allen had five targets after averaging 6.7 per game entering Week 6. Furthermore, his 17.2% target share was his second-lowest this year, while his 17% target per route run rate tied a season-low (per Fantasy Points Data). The Bears have so many weapons and an improving rushing attack. I would explore trading Allen and a low-end RB2 for DK Metcalf.”

“I’m happy to stream tight ends every week and sell high if I can. The position has historically been a hot mess, and this season further cements that. So, I’d be willing to test the trade waters on George Kittle, given that he’s outperforming expectations despite not seeing a high target volume. His 35 targets rank third among tight ends and are just a handful more than middling guys like Colby Parkinson, Cade Otton, or Dalton Schultz. Toss Kittle in the water and see who’s biting.”

“One of my favorite sell-high candidates right now is J.K. Dobbins. He has been on fire thus far this season, and Gus Edwards recently landed on IR, so he should be a hot commodity when putting him on the trade block. I would shoot for a 2-for-1 targeting someone like Cooper Kupp and James Conner or Tony Pollard.”

“The hype around the Davante Adams–Aaron Rodgers reunion may present fantasy managers with a fantastic chance to sell at a premium. Everyone knows the kind of magic Adams and Rodgers created in Green Bay, which may still showcase itself in New York, but things have changed. Garrett Wilson will remain a constant in this Jets offense, and while he does get a downgrade because of the trade, he does not become irrelevant by any means. If Adams could be used to acquire Amon-Ra St. Brown, Chris Godwin (PPR), or in a package for CeeDee Lamb, fantasy managers should not hesitate to pull the trigger.”
