- Jaylen Wright (RB – MIA): Jaylen Wright had an impressive preseason performance, outshining his competition in Miami’s backfield. Despite playing behind Jeff Wilson Jr., Wright averaged five yards per carry and added four catches for 41 yards in their final preseason game. With Raheem Mostert‘s injury history and rookie Devon Achane also banged up last year, Wright could see significant opportunities in one of the most fragile backfields in the league. His versatility makes him an exciting stash candidate ahead of Week 1.
- Adonai Mitchell (WR – IND): With Josh Downs dealing with a high ankle sprain, rookie Adonai Mitchell has a golden opportunity to make an impact in the Colts’ offense. Mitchell has been getting valuable slot reps in practice and could see early-season targets if Downs is unavailable. His red zone presence and the Colts’ matchup against a potentially high-scoring Houston Texans offense in Week 1 make him a strong stash candidate for fantasy owners looking to get ahead.
- Kimani Vidal (RB – LAC): Kamani Vidal has had a tumultuous offseason, but the rookie has solidified his spot in the Chargers’ backfield after a strong preseason showing. Despite being buried on the depth chart early, Vidal’s 49 yards on 11 carries in the final preseason game put him ahead of Isaiah Spiller. With the Chargers’ run-first mentality and an unsettled backfield, Vidal could carve out a meaningful role, making him a sneaky stash for fantasy managers.
